i'll have 3 audio tracks and i will add i effect(liquid dub delay) as an example, and the cpu meter is at 98%! i'm not using racks or any other vst. this happens to almost all of my fx plug ins. i'm running 16gs ram quad core processer and am on windows pro 7.

Is it the Tracktion CPU meter or the one in Windows?carllackey wrote:i'll have 3 audio tracks and i will add i effect(liquid dub delay) as an example, and the cpu meter is at 98%! i'm not using racks or any other vst. this happens to almost all of my fx plug ins. i'm running 16gs ram quad core processer and am on windows pro 7.

Check how many CPU cores you're set up to use on the audio devices tab on the tracktion settings page, make sure it's the maximum possible. I've seen that setting be something weirdly low for no obvious reason on odd occasions in the past.carllackey wrote:i'll have 3 audio tracks and i will add i effect(liquid dub delay) as an example, and the cpu meter is at 98%! i'm not using racks or any other vst. this happens to almost all of my fx plug ins. i'm running 16gs ram quad core processer and am on windows pro 7.

Mine's gone a bit weird - the T6 thing is showing 1% (nothing s happening on the PC) but when I click on it, one of the plug-ins is listed at 100%.
[W10-64, T5/6/7/W8/9/10/11/12/13, 32(to W8)&64 all, Spike],[W7-32, T5/6/7/W8, Gina16] everything underused.

It has always been like that. It means 100% of the 1%.jabe wrote:Mine's gone a bit weird - the T6 thing is showing 1% (nothing s happening on the PC) but when I click on it, one of the plug-ins is listed at 100%.
