Couldn't be farther from the truth. Obviously you haven't seen my VST collection posted elsewhere.2ZrgE wrote:He really wants to buy it and hopes for a price reduction.Ruben(LD) wrote:I love these discussions, I was actually reading trough a topic yesterday where wagtunes needed 30+ posts to convince everybody he doesn't want to pay €139 for Sylenth1. Do you think I really NEED Sylenth1?
Please, be serious.

Yes I know your list.
I didn't say you need it btw.
I was just using some kitchen psychology for the fun of it.
From my last buys I didn't need any, but I still did buy.
If people would start ony buying things they need, society as we know it would collapse instantly.

Don't get me wrong. Sylenth1 has a nice sound. It cuts through the mix and does what it does well. Had I discovered it when I first started doing this stuff, I might have purchased it IF I didn't find something for about the same amount of money that did more or was more flexible. It doesn't help that my first 2 synths were Synthmaster and Zebra 2. It's really kind of hard to top that with a 9 year old synth.2ZrgE wrote:Yes I know your list.

These Google trends make another difference between a Minimoog and Sylenth1 very obvious: you cannot torrent a Minimoog. Or at least no one has tried yet.Urs wrote:http://www.google.com/trends/explore#q= ... cmpt=q&tz=wagtunes wrote:Good heavens, are we actually comparing Sylenth1 to a Minimoog? It turns out Sylenth1 is even more sought after than Sylenth !BlitBit wrote:These Google trends make another difference between a Minimoog and Sylenth1 very obvious: you cannot torrent a Minimoog. However both of these pale in comparison to the mighty Zebra

A lot of people are into Zebras!

Moogs maybe, but there are some great analogues around.Teksonik wrote:Yes because then you'll discover how crappy real analog synths sound.........pdxindy wrote:I strongly suggest you do not go down to a local shop and play a Moog

You realize that's all we had back then right ? I sold Zebra 2 (regretted it but not too much) and I own Synthmaster but hardly ever open it.....but Sylenth gets used every time I start a synth based composition and I don't do Trance or EDM or whatever other alphabets you want to use..........wagtunes wrote:It doesn't help that my first 2 synths were Synthmaster and Zebra 2. It's got character.......that I like a lot.....nine years old or not.

Pathetic joke. Seems you have as much talent as an humorist than in all other domains.Teksonik wrote:Yes I know I just like rattling the ANALlogue fanbois (as BONES would put it).......Kriminal wrote:Moogs maybe, but there are some great analogues around.Teksonik wrote:Yes because then you'll discover how crappy real analog synths sound.........pdxindy wrote:I strongly suggest you do not go down to a local shop and play a Moog

Hmmm. I did not wait your remarkable comments ( ... ) to realize that some people have the necessary talent to make synths sound right. These people are usually called musicians btw, and they use musical instruments, like, sometimes, analog synthesizers . Your anti analog synths crusade just sounds weird ( imho, etc ), but well, I guess nobody cares, so, just carry onTeksonik wrote:You realize that's all we had back then right ?
