Ingo, of course you can select which plugins you want to install PER plugin type, too! Click the "+" button

Oops, many thanks for this. Crazy that i never noticed this before as i had to use the installer countless times during Betas of v2.0 and also precious updates for v1.7...EvilDragon wrote:Ingo, of course you can select which plugins you want to install PER plugin type, too! Always ignored those "+" symbols before the plugin formats. I had to test all plugins anyway so i actually never looked for an option to install only one.
I could confirm that in the latest official installers for v1.7.4 it is the same as in that screenshot (first you have a list of the plugin formats and the "+" at the left opens the selection for the plugins):

This is how it looks before opening the details with the "+" button:

OK, then my previous statements are obviously wrong and i edited those.

Not sure what the new PPG brings to the table though if you already have PPG3

Nothing. It's a nicer GUI than before, but sound-wise it's the same. It does use less CPU than PPG v3...aMUSEd wrote:Not sure what the new PPG brings to the table though if you already have PPG3

A GUI where one actually can see the names of the controls is one big PLUSEvilDragon wrote:Not sure what the new PPG brings to the table though if you already have PPG3

So -- has anyone confirmed that you get the upgrade price if you have the Steinberg edition?
Also, given a choice, I don't want to install the old edition in order to validate the upgrade. Yes/no?

Yes to the first question (the upgrade is a separate item that you add to your cart), I don't know to the second, but I don't think it's required to have the old version installed first.GreyLion wrote:So -- has anyone confirmed that you get the upgrade price if you have the Steinberg edition?

I did notice that it fully replaced my old version.
JUST installed the new version. Two questions:
- No standalone modes? I see the plugin files, but I cannot find any EXEs like the original Waldorf Edition had for launching Attack and PPG separately? If they exist, where are they? Didn't find 'em in ProgramData\Waldorf or either of my Program Files folders.
- No documentation? The only manuals I see are the old 2008 ones from my V1 install. There is a "Waldorf_Edtition_Manual.pdf" in the ProgramData\Waldorf folder, but it's dated 2014 and describes the V1 versions of the programs... is THAT the new documentation?
