I hope it is at least 50% bigger than v1, which is very tiny now.
Will post a screenshot as soon as i find time. The GUi is bigger than v1 and the GUI size will automatically switch to another size with a Ultra HD or Retina display.

kind thanks for jumping onto this so soon.

i was using FLstudio 11 when it crashed. I have since tried it in Max/msp 7.01, and the same processes (altering sample on-the-fly/ pitch modding a sample aggressively) also seize it up.

any other queries, fire a message back and ill investigate - ta.

also - in regards to the sample-change issue - if you stop the sequence playback and alter the sound, you are relatively safe, its only when its playing back.

I got to buy Waldorf 2 LE edition for €13,33

Did you get the 33% discount per email for owning version 1 or is it an introduction offer coupon thing?

Ah, never mind, found my answer on their Facebook page.

Hi,

copy protection is to enter a user name (which is usually the e-mail address) and a serial. No eLicenser.

The serial of version 1 will not work in Version 2.

Concerning the other question i would have to ask myself as i am not involved with sales, just with testing and collecting bug reports.

Just started testing with the FL Studio 11 64-bit demo in Windows 7 64-bit.

No crash yet. Also checked with the VST3 plugin.

As alraedy mentioned in some other hosts like Cubase 8 and Live 9 i also did not find crashes yet.

The default size of the v2 GUI is smaller than I had hoped.

It's not much bigger than v1, this is how it looks on my system, compared to each other

The v2 size is just about adequate, but on a hi-res screen I really do hope it will adapt to bigger size

You don't have to prove anything when you make the purchase; you just put the V1>V2 upgrade in your cart and check out.

They email you a serial number after you buy, and you have to specify your email address when you enter the serial number at first use. I'm guessing it works like Native Instruments upgrades? Maybe the serial number they give you won't work if you don't already have the qualifying product associated with that email address/account? Either that or they perhaps verify you're a V1 owner before sending you a serial.

As i just tested in the FLStudio 11 64-bit demo (during Beta i used several other hosts for testing) here is a screenshot of a test patch i just used (64-bit VST3 plugin):

My display is Full HD (1920 x 1080).

The patch uses samples for both oscillators, pitch modulation for Osc 2 and a Reverb FX.

It's decently bigger than original. Buttons and knobs are bigger and easier to tweak. Overall a marked improvement IMO.
