I have a Trigger Finger Pro that utilises the Mackie protocol. I'd like to assign the middle cursor button which transmits the note E6 on midi ch1 to launch/record clips. Navigating slots is already a feature of the MCU script so all I'd need to do is add this new feature.
I know there is clear documentation for the api that offers amazing potential but I am no programmer and am confused and frustrated. Please help if you can.

P.S Turns out that the middle cursor is used for track bank switching. I don't want to mess with that so I'll lock the thread.
