You are demonstrating fundamental misunderstandings about synths:

Mellotron uses tapes so Satin must be a good substitute because it is a tape emulation. :dog:
Moog System 55 is modular so Ace must be a good substitute because it is modular. :dog:
dont forget 'Bazille does FM so Bazille must be an FM8 substitute'

or basically umpteen tedious rounds of 'u-he, i dont actually buy your stuff, but make your product X more like product Y instead'
Well u and whyterabbyt totaly twisted what i say but i am not going to join ur rude , low intellegence co fight because i better creat something beautiful then proving sombody it is possible to do that.

Usualy the music is done in the way that musician has an instrument or instruments and he creat all possible sounds with it and then searching a use for his sounds. I do oposit. I have an idia in my mind which sound i need for this particular place in the song and then looking for solution how to creat this sound. At this very moument i did not need Uhe plugins but cannot speak about next minute.

And i do not understand what kind of stupidness is that to be mad for person who giving free sugesstion for improving products. I might mention 3party products because some features i am tolking a well implemented there.Like for example FM8 freely drawable envelops i am missing in many plugins because i think ADSR is very limited solution and should not even be in digital world.

I dont think it is fair to judge him by ownership of u-he products, rather do it on the merit and intelligence of his questions.

You could try Reelbus from toneboosters.
It has lots of settings for bias, wow/flutter, tape hiss, surcuit clip and more.
To get the special nasal sound you could try a microphone sim or just a band pass equalizer.

I hove non of them exept free Zebrallete. But i keep an eye on Uhe and other brands who make high end solutions in case i need them. But i am proud for people who make things not because of money but because of making good things.

There is no stupid questions but there are stupid answers.

I advice to jujge person only by work which is already done but not by appearance or by words or by promises or by what degree of some studies or positions he or she has.

You could not possibly get a Mellotron sound with Satin on a track.

Each note on a Mellotron is a tape. So each note is having its own variation and fluctuation. You would need an instance of Satin or other tape sim for each individual note.

The Mellotron also has its own amp circuitry so it is not just playing tapes. So you would also want an amp sim.

And of course, the character of the tape recordings themselves contribute to the sound of the Mellotron.

Correct.

Absolutely. The signature Mellotron choir, strings, flute tapes were recorded on vintage mics and mixing desks using vintage EQ and compression. Satin does not emulate the recording the chain.
