Sounds like there's also a problem with delay timing/sync?Ingonator wrote:A crash while selecting samples in OSX was already mentioned/reported muliple times and should be fixed with an update that is currently tested.rob_lee wrote:Does anyone else have problems I'm having here in the video clip?
1 - The delay is all over the place on start/stop of tracks when using Attack V2
2 - Instant crashing 100% of the time whilst selecting samples
I'll probably find more bugs but Iv'e had to dum Attack out of my track cause it's that bad whilst selecting samples. Great sounds but very very buggy.
Video:
At windows theer is a comparable but slightly fifferent bug that seems to be solved with that update. In that case yoou get a crash when loading a sample and set the ENV amount for the pitch envelope to maximum.
There is a thread about that one here:

Yes but it only does this upon start/stop of Logic as far as I can see. The sample select issue is the most annoying here. Hopefully they will sort this out.aMUSEd wrote:

Fair enough, there's also a delay issue in Logic whilst start/stop of host. Not sure if this is present in other hosts but in Logic it's clear every time.

Based on a first test here (in Cubase 8.0.10) It is possible that there is such a problem indeed but this only seems to happen when i stop the song and then restart at the same position, not if i reset the song to the start of the song (e.g. by double clicking the Stop button or using the Rewind button).aMUSEd wrote:Sounds like there's also a problem with delay timing/sync?Ingonator wrote:A crash while selecting samples in OSX was already mentioned/reported muliple times and should be fixed with an update that is currently tested.rob_lee wrote:Does anyone else have problems I'm having here in the video clip?

In Logic it doesn't matter where I start or stop from I get the same issue I just tested again. Hopefully this can be fixed in a future update. The D-Pole however seems to be working fine will try the PPG next although I mostly use the PPG3.Ingonator wrote:

Not 100% sure about this here at Windows. At the moment i am creating a simple test project in Cubase 8 with a few tracks of Attack and PPG Wave 2.V.rob_lee wrote:In Logic it doesn't matter where I start or stop from I get the same issue I just tested again. Would be nice if your mac testers could post here too about their findings if your only using windows to test then. That would help us mac users a lot.Ingonator wrote:

The issue is sent to the testers and usually they should first report results to me before posting in a public forum. Besides that of course i have to test the same in Windows too which i currently try to do.rob_lee wrote:Would be nice if your mac testers could post here too about their findings if your only using windows to test then. PS
I know that I can save banks of kits I program here BUT is there a way I can save individual sounds? If, for instance I want to use a specific Tom sound within a different kit Iv'e programmed is there a way to load that single sound in to a slot when I have a different kit loaded? It would be very useful to be able to do this but so far Iv'e only been able to save the whole kit/bank.
Thanks

i am currently working on a document about presets handling in the Waldorf Edition 2 (includng using presets in VSt3 and AAX format etc.).
In Attack there are single kits with up to 24 Instruments and Banks of up to 16 Kits, each with up to 24 Instruments.
The fxp files inckuded with teh attack factory presets include single Kits with 24 Instruments.
Here is an example in Cubase 8 (the VSt2 plugin) that shows the selection on top of the Attack plugin:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/532 ... its_01.png

This selection is the selection of the 16 Kits that could be included with a bank of kits (could be saved e.g. as a fxb file).
If you select one of those 16 and load a fxp file this Kit will be loaded to that slot in the bank.
You could also use the copy/paste feature for the kits to copy kits between those 16 slots.
Using the ROM Presets for Kits (and Sounds) is possible too of course.
Those will the also appear in the "Presets" menu and you could select single instruments then:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/532 ... its_02.png

The copy/paste features for Instruments/Sounds and Kits are in the EDIT menu:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/532 ... its_03.png

With those and the slots for the different kits you could copy/paste single sounds fro mone kit to another one.
If your final kit is at the first of 16 slots and you want to clean the rest you just open the other kots in the slots and load a Init bank with those.
As a result you should have a new kit with the sounds you want to have. This could be saved as a single kit or a bank (with VSt3 presets or AU presets this seems to be the same as this does not know the difference of single sound sand banks).
To save a single sound you would have to save that to Instrument 1 and save the Kit.
With the method mentioned above you could then combine sounds from different files into a new Kit.
This way it works with the fxp and fxb files in the VST2 plugin.
Maybe would have been better to use Live 9 for this example as this could both load and save fxb + fxp files.
Ingo

Just upgraded to v2 as I always liked attack.
In v2 attack is so big that it wont fit on my screen in FL? Is there a way to resize it? I cant find it? Checked the manual but it seems to be old one from vol1. Same goes for ppgwave 2.2

Which resolution do you use at your dispaly? Mine is Full HD and there it is fine. For Ultra HD/4K or Retina displays automatically a bigger GUI should be loaded.Mac Hine wrote:Just upgraded to v2 as I always liked attack.

In the first Betas it was possible to switch to that manually (with an additional file) and at my Full HD display this was indeed huge.
