I am very tired of tracktion crashing and bugs. I have four computers, one with mac, second with w7 64bit, third with linux and the last one i use now is w7 32bit.
It is best tracktion experience ive have, tracktion crashes once pet 30 minutes. I can live it..
But! I was jaming, song crashed and when i open crashed song now (tempotary or original) it crashes trackion every time so there is no way how to open that song. It is absolutelly critical, can you imagine that this happens during professional studio work?
I love tracktion but i hate its bug. It is most bugged daw ive ever tried.

Ive tried to delete mentioned vst but it will crash with different one, so i cant figure out whats happening. Please, correct bugs before developing another ideas, please...

Ok, if i rename vst folder, song is loaded at least..

Are you on T5 or T6? Another way is to remove the offending plugin from the list in the settings tab. I had the same thing happen with a DDMF plugin. It seems most the crashes are plugin related so we just gotta figure out which ones work and hope they come out with a fix soon. I have that same Overtone plugin on a project and it hasn't caused any crashes for me fortunately. I'm sure this is one of their top priorities.

I am on tracktion 6.. i would report bug if i wouldnt use last version ;].
btw. it is not about specific plugin.
I ve used three plugins in projects, korg m1, ptq1cm and filtercrusher. Everything was fine for about half hour... Then it crashed..
When i tried load it back it it crashed..
Log wrote about filtercrusher, so ive deleted it.
Then it wrote about ptq1cm, so ive deleted it.
Then it wrote about korg m1, so ive deleted it.
Then song has been load finally, but without any plugin, not very usable.
Yes, i hope it is big priority, something like sandboxing system would be nice solution.
