is there any BFD Eco upgrade sale I may have overlooked ?

I`d be happy with a BFD Eco -> BFD2 upgrade sale.

Noticed your list price on the download upgrade is the same as the boxed price from fxpansion. Their download only list price is $50 cheaper. Also, not yet showing any additional discount on the upgrade in the cart. So far looks like just the 25 off on the upgrade? Is that right?
Yeah, I was wondering about this too. Download upgrade is $150 elsewhere, and with audiodeluxe's automatic discount it's $124.99.

No extra discount on the upgrade means it's only $19.75 more for the full BFD3.
(Upgrade = $129 in cart, Full version = $148.75 in cart)
Seems fxpansion is not actually running a sale on the upgrades, so that explains that.

I'll ask them if there's something better we can do.

In honor of 3/14, SoundRadix Pi Phase Interaction Mixer is on sale for 60% off, now $99 (normally $219) and receive an automatic extra discount in cart at JRR Shop:

jrrshop.com/soundradix-pi
It ends 3/28.

Now that this amazing mother of all UVI sales weekend is over, the first thing to drop into my mailbox is an announcement that from today UVI Darklight is on sale for 60% off. I feel sorry for anyone who bought that lib during the weekend. And actually I've been there myself. Bought Digital Synsations some time last year for 25% off and about a month later it became a freebie. :dog: Are the UVI sales people on drugs or do they just enjoy pissing customers off?
UVI are amazingly nice people and one of my favorite companies to deal with. I also absolutely love their instruments and reverb. However, I completely understand how this Waves-esque sales technique can leave you with a bad taste. It's usually better to buy things like Sparkverb and IRCAM during the 25% off sale because those rarely go on sale on their own, whereas things like Digital Synsations and Vintage Legends tend to go on sale several times a year for much better prices.

This is the essential paradox. We all want sales when we want to buy, but not when we want to sell or think about the value of things we already bought. That's not specific to UVI, or Waves, or IK, or NI, or any other developer.

You just have to guess, and balance immediate need/desire with the possibility of a cheaper price some day. Once you've bought, just enjoy (or sell), regret gets you nothing.

I couldn't or wouldn't buy much of the audioware I have at full price, but there are a few I have, and some I still might. But not if I can help it...

Digital Synsations has been given away so many times in different sale ploys, I'm surprised anyone would actually pay anymore than the $20.00 you tend to see it offed for in the market here.
(I sold one, gave the other away).

In other words...Take responsibility for your own decisions.
The way I see it, if you decide to pay for a product at a particular time and price, that's your own choice.

I love how some people think that these companies just sit and wait for one or two people to buy something then announce a sale straight away.... :ud:

so the UVI Darklight IIX no longer needs an iLok right?
this would be the first time that I picked up something from UVI
but I like what I hear with the Darklight
has anyone used it within Ableton Live 9 64 bit?

It doesn't use the dongle, but still uses the PACE from iLok software to run.
It's the reason I gave my Digital Synsations and iLok account it has to be to registered under away.

UVI is almost as strange with their sales policy as IKM is, only rivaled by Melda. UVI does produces some fantastic software though...MachFive, Spark, all very awesome things.

The crazy thing is it was one of their most popular titles before they started giving it away.

Who said anything about buyers not having to take responsibility for their decisions?? The point is rather that it's impossible to make good decisions as a buyer when, for example, UVI on Friday says "three days only, buy our libs for 25% off $199, fantastic opportunity, don't miss out, etc", then on Monday Darklight goes on sale for 60% off. But you're probably right, those who made the decision to buy it on Sunday probably didn't want to wait until Monday anyway...
