Using video in T5 or T6

I was hoping to use T5 (or T6) to do some simple editing and syncing of a video demo for my band.

From what I've seen here, T5 doesn't play nice with video.

Is the same true with T6?

Your words of wisdom and guidance most welcome.

Thanks!

Hi FoxV, T6 uses the same system for playing back video as T5 so there is unlikely to be a difference.
On OS X Tracktion uses QuickTime to play back videos, on Windows it uses the DirectShow framework. If you have problems viewing videos, you may need to download a codec pack.

If you are having performance or seek problems try converting the video to an uncompressed format.

We are working on a system to improve video compatibility and performance but this is unlikely to be available until much later in the year.
