Can i sell tracktion or get my money back?

Hello, ive bought tracktion 5 and 6. No version works well with my computers and plugins so i basicaly didnt get what i should...

Is there any way how i can get my money back? Is there any way how to sell tracktion or be compensated?

Shame you can't sell it, but lets not take away from the fact that Tracktion is obviously working hard to improve it's product which is already a very good deal. This style of public beta is not that uncommon. I come here every day because I am pretty excited about the future of the program. I have a feeling some of the recent naysayers that post here will be back to Tracktion soon, judging by the fact that they keep coming here to post.

T6 is still young, an no DAW comes without bugs, Logic X was buggy at first and still is.

I'm pretty sure you can sell it. Also they bundle version 5 with 6 because 6 is new and therefore has some rough edges. tbh they should have had a public beta release before every version but they are learning to do that more now.

Who needs a shoe for $ 30 which constantly falls off or torn soles shoelaces? What do I tell the person to whom the license selling the program and the young have to be patient, to wait? Even in version 5 do not work properly licensed plugins.A program I personally really like his plan, rationality and opportunities. However, work to do here today and now. What to do while Tracktion does not allow. I have high hopes for this program. Bought version 5 in November for an upgrade that does not work consistently, even asking $ 30. That is why I write here that improved software due to their users. For raw versions of the practice of beta testers, and this is done not for the money! I am willing to pay more. Give me a working version of the program! Or try the beta version, but not at your expense.

Ive tried every well other known daw out there and none of them was so buggy as a tracktion. Tracktion is unstable for me (it can compete with Mixbus), it can mess up my edits and its crashing doesnt have any logic for me (but it is very often, once per half hour).
Ive bought Tracktion with version 4 and i buy it with every new version because i hoped that it will be stable.
And I have three computers also, one with linux, one with mac, one with windows 7 32bit. I have horrible experience with every version and every computer. So it is not about my plugins...

I buy it, try it for a week and then i am so frustrated that i go back to my second daw Renoise even if i wanted to use it with tracktion via rewire (even if tracktion ignores the very first tone in renoise) but i cant. I love Tracktion as a DAW but i think it has to be rotten inside.
I would give away my license even for some compensation from marketplace to be fair. I am just angry that i had give away my money for something that doesnt work. If ive bought something that i just doesnt like later i wouldnt give a s*hit.

Thank you, Kang, for re-transcribing what Gi.son posted. I had struggled to comprehend the text of the original post. I blame it on the limitations of translation software -- although such tools have come a long way over the past ten years, they still have a long way to go before they can ever truly replace a human being as a translator.

There are probably a lot more VST programmers than there are competent VST programmers, and even the best ones make mistakes.

there seem to be numerous specially programmed "workarounds" in many daws, to overcome those plugin mess and make things work for the users.
as one can see from the comments here, it is overdue for tracktion to present a solution. users are running away or become angry, because it's just not working. this is making a bad reputation and will spread fast ...
people have spent money on plugins and want to use them!

on the other hand, i don't know the full picture and how the ratio of happy to unhappy customers is.
it may be not that bad, normally we hear much more complaining, while the happy users are just having fun using the thing and won't comment until something seems broken.

i just gave my money on the tracktion 5 and now tracktion 6 upgrade as an investment, because i like the layout and ideas and want to support it. i can't complain at all for the price!!!
atm i use it only for musical sketches and testprojects since 1,5 years, where crashes and fails are not too bad. so still testing, until i feel secure enough, that everything will work when doing important stuff.
and i am still waiting for some things to come (if they will ever ... idk), which i see as weak points of tracktion and for which i gave feedback and even detailed feature requests.
real/paid work is done in samplitude, which can't be compared feature- and pricewise.

Me too, I was so happy TSC had decided to bring us back Tracktion that I wanted to support TSC team.
But I can understand the frustration when you paid a soft and can't use it.
I'm not a programmer but I can imagin it must be a real headacke to make all this plugins, hardware works together.

You know there is one another thing i dont like, there are daws like Reaper, Mulab, Mixcraft or Renoise. They dont talk about new features very much, they dont hype its products like Tracktion team but their daws are very stable and support every plugin i have. And what is the most important thing for me: They dont release new and paid version if the last one is not working allright. And because their demos dont have that annoying noise you can use them for much longer time than Tracktion´s IMHO. But I am not saying that any mentioned product is better or worse than Tracktion.

But to be fair, 6.0.25 behaves much better and i got Melodyne as a nice compensation. I hope for tracktion still. I suppose I am just little frustrated with its policy...
