No, I'm pretty sure I didn't. I know it's a reference to Bush, who is also famous for being practically iliterate (but natively English speaking, unlike me), and what he tried to imply is that the correct form of the word is (now I remember) "occupied".

I just think that on an internationally accessible forum, making fun of someone's grammar or spelling isn't very nice. Sorry if natively English speaking people found offense in my remark (on newsgroups and forums where my language dominates, 80% of people are illiterate in it as well).
I always overlook mistakes by non-english speakers - especially because of where I live. And I work hard to make myself understood in both Chinese and Japanese. I cause a lot of laughter here with my clumsy attempts to speak the local language.

For me - I was laughing about what you said about the cockroaches...

But I don't think anyone was making fun of you personally, and if they are, then they should just be ignored. Don't let it bother you at all. They're the losers - not you. :)

Yeh, Xan is right. 98 percent of the time people here are totally understanding about language. There are people from all over the world that post here, and this is the first time I can remember someone making a comment about somebody elses spelling or grammar. And, if you have heard "President" bush of the United States give unrehearsed (or even rehearsed) speaches you would understand exactly what the guy meant. You probably know that, I don't have to tell you I am sure. It may have been a little bit out of turn, but I am also sure that he didn't mean it as an insult to you. It is actually a little bit funny, because it sounds exactly like something that Bush would say, and he IS a native english speaker.

Is there a reason you guys are dodging the "Loop Record" feature requests?
we're not dodging anything, it has been covered to death and no one likes answering the same question all the time
Well...drumroll (FL drumroll that is;) ).....
So I take it, the answer is NO, no you will never implement loop record? I have yet to see an explaination and I'm still baffled. Pretty please?!

Ok, there were no hard feelings on my side, (maybe a little bit of, "hey, why me!?", but who can really help that :D). It's prolly just that I do have trouble to express myself in English so I maybe came out more bitter than I was.

cheers all.

(wish I had something ontopic to add, now that I've shifted the thread in a totally wrong direction)

ok ok, mixing engines are highly complex, FL's mixing engine took us over 12 years to develop & is the best you'll find. If you want your VSTi's to sound the best, they will in FL Studio. Every day FL's mixing engine is tested by trained blind monkeys who can detect the slightest imperfections in the audio signal.

(really, do I care, come on give me your money now)

So that's what's going on in Image-Line's super-secret lab I keep hearing about :)

Trained blind monkey here. Testing FL mixing engine everyday and loving the sweet science! :o

jmc is giving away Porche's....atleast one of the last threads I read about new features talked mostly about Porche's so I only can assume....

okay what I've heard is that we could see a propper sampler, a drum sampler mapped out for gm2 but the pluggin itself resembles an Akai with the pads. You be able drag and drop your favorite samples on the pads. I've also heard talk of better audio handling, what and if it's true I'm not sure. You can never be quite sure with FL, they seem to come up with improvements that we would never think of. Like in the last update we got "last parameter tweaked" function, which seemed like it was out of the blue (at least to me) and it's great. So I figure whatever they give us will be worth waiting for and most likely make another one of my other apps useless... :)
