I really like the MUX looks, they seem to be improving regularly and more gui elements are becoming customizable.

I really don't see what's wrong with them. At the contrary they look very good to me. And i compared them to many other buttons in other apps.

The only thing i'm open to atm is that maybe i'll extent color customization so that you can do buttons with on-state with dark color and some light text color. But not top prio atm.

Edit: To avoid confusion: I appreciate your feedback sl23, i also asked for it. And i evaluated it. But i disagree on topic, respectfully. Thanks for your feedback!
Hi Jo.
With regards to you quoting me here, that was in reference to bibz1st screen shot, not how Mulab currently looks.

I like your idea of extending colouring if you don't mind, but no rush, and thanks.

As regards your edit, sorry if it appeared that I was droning on about it, but I was just replying to others comments. As I already said before, I understand this is a minor point and don't wish to distract you from your main goals.

Ok lets conclude: Things are fine already, but more customizable colors would be better. Also extra support for sharing themes is welcome. That's what i've taken note of. Not sure when i'll work on that, it depends on the organic R&D flow. One of the first things i will do now is improve/extent the front panel system and research MUX for Mac. Starting on that soon. Currently still following up the M6.1 release and trying to get that news on the net as much as possible. Not as easy as it seems.

For what its worth I do see people recommending MUX and Mulab in other threads.

To be more complete: Also on top of the prio list are improving the MuSynth and improving the parameter system (that's also related with improving the front panel system). And maybe (depending on the flow) there will come some small intermediate updates with little improvements here and there.

Love the sound of of Musynth and any improvements ( aural or visual ) are welcome, just been playing around stacking multiple Musynths in a mux, awesome

Sorry if I went OT here, didn't want to open new thread, but was too lazy to search more for appropriate one, so sorry in advance

Is there possibility for at least 8 effects slots in total for MuSynth, right now there are 4, sure it's enough, but it would be awesome to have more and get really spot on thing without even going outside of it :hyper:

Post

Beacuse those slots host Mux's then you can put as many effects within any one of those Mux as your cpu can eat. :D

I'm new to all this Mu jargon, gave a shot to this awesome DAW few days ago, so bare with me :smack:

As I understand, you can't edit that synth (MuSynth, blue one) at all or open it up in modular view or whatever it is, right?

I would like to hook up my friend on Mux at least and basically it would be selling point for him if I just send him finished presets with whole channel strip on that synth, he started out and wants to buy some soft synth and also I don't have time to make tutorials for him about some specific sounds, this way I can just slap him preset and voila, he have almost ready to go sound with all 3rd party plugins, which is awesome and at least 8 slots on that fellow would make huge difference to outcome :hihi:

I have a feeling I'm like total noob missing out on some fundamental knowledge here

Post

No you cant open up the modular view of the synth but you can open up the modular view of any effects that you put in those slots
