There are *loads* of classic synth sounds and most of them are programmed to be expressive. I don't think many of the presets will be "EDM only" or "Trance only" or "just Prog"

Working on that, but it needs to happen some time later… the code has 16 voices all over the place, it requires a bit of a surgery to soup it up for arbitrary numbers.

It'll be roughly a few days after final release. Which is probably roughly a month away, if all goes well.

Just curious, do you plan to extend the beta demo urs? I have track I'd like to finish up that I haven't had time for from when the osc was running and for the foreseeable time won't have funds

Unfortunately we haven't got a new beta yet. The whole trade show preparation/Presswerk update/tax audit/company move/younameit has kept us extremely busy.

I'm afraid that a new beta would be less stable than the current version because of ongoing changes (preferences panel). I'll bring it up in a meeting today, not sure where we're at.

Hi Urs:

I just opened a project I've got going in Sonar and noticed that Hive hasn't "blitzed-out" yet. Did I read in error or was it decided to stretch the beta try-out period longer than March 30th (and I missed that somehow)?

BTW, it is tons of fun. And more flexible than you let on (I'm using it for some very strange jazz).

It works, but it goes into demo mode on April 1st (occasional crackles)
