If i drag a 4 bars loop on T6, the loop appears as 3 bars length.
If i enter 4 beats on the properties panel and tick auto tempo, the beat N° switch back to 3 and the waveform doesn't stretch.
If I enter 5 beats on the properties panel and tick auto tempo, the beat N° stay to 5 and the waveform stretches.
If I enter 4 beats again on the properties panel and tick auto tempo, the beat N° stay to 4 and the waveform shrink.
So why T6 does the audio loop does not stretch to 4 bars at first ?

Also, auto pitch does not apply if audio file is looped.

The number of beats is only used when auto-tempo is on. It's effectively used to determine the BPM.
The number of beats is determined directly by the file, either a number of beats for Acid wav files or a tempo for Apple Loop aiff files. (They store different metadata).
If neither of these is found Tracktion assumes the file is at the same tempo as your Edit and the number of beats is determined by the length and the tempo.
I think what you're seeing is just a rounding problem from the length of the file. Perhaps if you sent me the file I could take a better look?

I tried a dozen of files and they all behave the same.
Where do i send it ?
