Still have to register one more product, though, maybe pricing will change.
Other results?
Same here for having 2 products. Looks like the pricing may only change drastically if you own one of the previous versions bundles

"As an arturia customer owning a registered product, you are entitled to a very special price on either the V Collection Classics or the V Collection 4."

What prices are you guys seeing when you log in to your accounts?
I'm seing €79 for upgrading to version 4 from having the V-collection V3. This is €20 less than the intro offer when they released the V4 (€99).

But what I think is an unforgivable customer treatment is that there is a time limit on. So if you want to consider the offer more or don't have the extra cash at the moment, then you have to buy the full V4 afterwards because no upgrade is possible. So they are basically trying to force people into buying the new version impulsive before the offer runs out.

I can understand a time limit for an extra good upgrade offer. But a time limit for a regular upgrade offer is making fun of the customers in my opinion.
Its 79 euros for 3 new synths and Spark 2. That really is nothing given the RRP of those together. And without trying to sound like a dick, if you can't afford that, you probably have other way more important things to be spending your cash on. And it is a month to consider it.

+1 When you look at it like that, it becomes a no brainer.

SEM V is a great plug. Plus getting Matrix12V and SolinaV should sweeten the deal further for the V3 users

Well you sound like "a dick" :hihi:
I already have Spark 2. It's a member of V3 as well. So first of all it's 2 synths. Having discounts for a bundle is normal among plugin-delopers. Second, it's not like Arturia are the only ones making plugins. I don't know about, but since I don't have unlimited funds I have to choose what to spend my money on. €79 euros isn't that much itself, but if I told myself that each time there was an offer from a developer I would be broke in no time. Don't you have "other more important things to spend your cash on"? Like paying rent, food and every other things that are normal expenses in a household.

The principle of having a time limit upgrade offer for existing customers is making fun of us I think. I purchased version 1 and upgraded from V2 to V3 and now I'm forced to upgrade with a time limted. An intro offer for new customers could have a promotional time limited discount. Not an upgrade offer for existing customers. And as far as I rememember there wasn't a time limit last time I upgraded. If Arturia had an intro upgrade offer for existing customers that was better than the regular upgrade offer I could see the point. But taking away the upgrade offer in general after some time is unacceptable in my opinion.

No need to worry about the time limit Hans25 (those p*ss me off too). The next offer from Arturia is already in prep.. ;)

Arturia tends to do a number of holiday upgrade deals over the course of a year. Unless things change radically at the company, if a deal now doesn't suit, there will probably be one along later.

Why Am I not surprised that you are the first one to agree :D. If purchasing a plugin each time it becomes a "no brainer" I would rather consider you to be one unless you have unlimited funds. Everything can be a no brainer if you don't consider the actual cost. An expensive car can be a "no brainer" if it is on sale but the price might still be above what you can allow yourself to pay for it.

I supported Arturia from the beginning. Purchased Jupiter as the first plugin even though it was buggy and unstable as hell the first couple of years. Then I purchased the V-Collection full as there was no upgrade offer at that time. So I don't feel ashamed to bug about a time limited upgrade offer.

Yeah ok ok. But the upgrade offer will probably be the same for V3 users. But I guess I will have decided what to do at that time.

Anybody know if the Classic Rock presents Prog mag can be bought digitally, at a better price than £8?

Buying the mag in the shop where I live is no deal, costing almost €25 :(

FWIW, Arturia doesn't do a lot of sales (maybe 3-4 per year) but the ones they do tend to be really good.

I would consider 3-4 sales per year (or every 3 month if you want) alot but everything is relative or?

PS. Waiting for the next NI 50% off for Komplete upgrade btw.. :D

@SampleScience

Based on the size of the picture you have added in the Bargain thread, I guess the sale is going really slow :P

Sorry man, but that is just spam, based on how many arguments there has been in here about having an easy overview in that thread.
