Yep - that's a good workaround for the bug where multiple file browsers aren't working correctly.

New update: Zebra.Redux.2015.0405.1720.zip
Zebra, Zebrify, Mini:
- OSCs: Added grid type selectors (Off, 1/2, 1/3, 1/5, 1/7, 1/9, 1/11) to GeoMorph tab
- OSCs: Added new background image to SpectroMorph tab
The new grid system is intended to work only in GeoMorph view, and it does, but selector buttons stay visible all the time. Not very smart, I know. This is something that I hopefully will fix in the future. But first, we have to make sure that this grid thing is useful at all.
The new SpectroMorph background now features a simple map for first 21 overtones. I hope it makes sense.

I love these new additions!
Thanks for all your hard work on this drzhnn. I feel like I get a small present every week or so with all of these updates you keep making to this skin. I wish I could use this with ZebraHZ, but after reading some of Uhr's posts about how that was put together I guess it would be difficult to impossible to make Redux work with it. Oh well, I'm just happy to have this at all, so thanks again!

I do think it could work for ZHZ... just drzhnn needs to own it first

Would make even more sense if we had snap-to-grid...hakey wrote:It's useful, but the 1/7, 1/9, 1/11 divisions might be overkill.drzhnn wrote:But first, we have to make sure that this grid thing is useful at all.
BTW I've started using Redux UDH as standard skin - the markings in the 'Blend' modes are a great help (and I like that red overlay in Spectromorph)!

I have not used Zebra extensively for a while, and decided to re-download this. The size doesn't bother me anymore, it's fine at 130% on a 24" (1900x1200, not 1080). Excellent skin - thanks for all the work you guys put in to it.
Very classy-looking, great workflow. I especially like Ravenholm with its super-clear modulation targets in orange.
Cheers!

After that, what I'd really like to see is a means of generating waveforms and sets of related waveforms directly from functions. But then, I suppose difficulty is in making it sufficiently user friendly.

I don't know if this is possible or not, but it would be nice if the FX module on the left disappeared if there were no FX units active. It always bugged me that I could edit a module that was disabled in the FX.
And +1 on daily use. I still get a little confused looking for things but I'm getting to prefer it more and more every day.

I don't know if it's possible, but everything I tried just didn't work well. The current behavior seems the most optimal. Initially, I wanted all FX Grid modules to show up it Generators rack, but at some point I realized that I can't assign more than 30 modules to one rack. It's like the rack can only host up to 30 units properlybmrzycki wrote:I don't know if this is possible or not, but it would be nice if the FX module on the left disappeared if there were no FX units active. Thanks for trying. I suspected it was non trivial or not possible. It's still an amazing skin.drzhnn wrote:I don't know if it's possible, but everything I tried just didn't work well. I've got a question. I am unable to load Oscillator presets when inside the OSCs pane. When I click on the name of the waveform in the top right nothing happens. However, if I switch to the SYNTH pane am able to click on the name of the waveform and a selector window pops up.
Is this intentional? Is there a different way to select a waveform preset when in the OSCs pane?
I've also noticed some text becomes truncated when disabling "Text Antialiasing":

It doesn't happen when Aliasing is enabled. I prefer working with the non-aliased text on Windows as I find the font to be less fuzzy.
Thanks again for all you do.

I didn't find a way to make the oscillator preset browser pop up on any tab, so the workaround is to open it while on SYNTH tab and then switch to OSCs or MSEGs tab - the popup window will follow along. I'm currently working on a new version of Redux that will hopefully make the process less tedious. I've added the truncated labels bug to my todo list
