^ Thanks. It's a very well-known bug. Should be fixed ASAP after Frankfurt Musikmesse (preparations are taking up all u-he time right now).

I need one or two weeks after Messe, and if I can lock myself up in a coding den. There aren't many bugs left, but still enough to keep me busy for a few days.KingTuck wrote:I'm outta the loop. Is the plan to have Hive out this month?

I'm getting strange behavior from this latest version.
After some time of use, midi modulation settings like aftertouch, start to happen without using them.
My microkorg has no aftertouch, but it will happen with normal playing.
I think other midi modulations are happening without being used as well.
I have to quit out of Live 8.4.2 and restart it to bring it back to normal.
It's 32bit, mac os 10.6.8.
I think I'm going to try a clean re-install of Hive to see if that helps.
I haven't tried it with my novation midi controller yet, to see if it might be a global setting on the microkorg causing it.
Next time it does it though, I'll load a different plugin and see if it does the same thing, so to rule out whether it's the plugin or the controller.

Hi Urs.
I love Hive as it is so far. Personally, I would love to be able to drag and drop any third-party single cycle waveform into the OSCs sections in Hive, but I guess that won't be the case.
However, you say that you'll add more waveforms. Could you please reveal how many, approximately? About two or three, o many more? I'm just curious.

Well, I did a lot of tests using some sort of PadSynth algorithm to create Supersaw-esque timbres based on overtone clusters. I want to continue those experiments and see if something useful for Hive comes out of it.moolzel wrote:Hi Urs.

I mean, a bunch of single-cycle waveforms would be thrown in easily, but they'd be static and somewhat boring. I'd much rather add some waveforms that are organic, wide and complex.
In addition I'd like to add Sync and FM functionality to the Suboscs.

Thanks for the update, Urs. I like where things are headed with this synth.

Minor bug, on windows the preset browser's drag and drop moves the preset but it's incorrectly using the "copy" icon. it does copy if you control-click, but without the visual feedback you don't know if it's going to copy or move the preset.
Howard, thanks for all the hard work on the user manual and presets, I was a bit on the fence for a while but those updates with the newest beta are what sold me on buying a license

No. Its a fantastic synth though. defently one of those go to go synths. But there are things hive can't do. So i wouldnt not say it would end all synths.Fleer wrote:Indeed, could become the synth to end all synths
i want some kind of templates with colors so i can change the interface color! would be cool :)The blue doesnt strike me

Well after finding the brightness settings I can revert back to what seems the one used in previous version.
Still, what do you guys think about the browser? Do you like that it now cover sthe full GUI? or did you like the previous version where it let you see some of the synth?

Don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but PWM has some strange note dependent behavior in the latest version. The amount of PWM you get at min/max setting varies depending on the note being played. I don't recall that being the case in earlier builds.

Are there still some stuck note issues? Because I managed to get one here using the AZ Hard 5th preset from Ayin/bass in the preview. I have a fairly simple bass line and after a few loops it ends up with a stuck note. I can still see the keyboard moving and the midi input flashing. Turning the arp on/off or changing an arp preset(even with the arp off) seems to get a few notes to come out and then its stuck again
I can send the ableton set if you want
