Behringer Motor with receptor??

Hey guys,

Anybody had the chance to try out behringer's new motorized controllers (Motor61/49) with the Muse receptor?? (no cringing bc I mentioned Behringer - this is a cool product)

I use a nanokontrol right now, and it would be amazing if the receptor can send the correct midi changes to the motor during a patch change. That way my organ doesn't scream out of the mix when I bump the slider up during a pad. :dog:

I haven't looked up any protocols yet, it runs with the protocol that pro tools uses; and I know it's still waiting to be shipped from manufacturer. But maybe someone got a chance to try it already???

Very Respectfully,

BK

The older BR motorized fader boxes were definitely compatible, and we've used them with it with success.

In general, if the device is USB Device Compliant, there is no reason it wouldn't work. I recently picked up one of their CMD DJ controllers to use it a trigger pad for sound effects, and it worked great.

What I can tell you is that Receptor will not be controlling the Behringer… it has to be the other way around. And yes, it would be cool if there was a way that all controllable parameters could be synced up with a hardware box, but this is an age old problem with all interfaces between the hardware and software worlds that appears to be a problem still seeking a solution…

I'll see if I can get my hands on a Motor61 and see how well it works… thanks of the suggestion!
