What would be really nice is to reduce the size just a little bit so it fits on an HD screen better. If hive opens on my second monitor which is an HD 32" TV and it opens in the wrong spot I can't get to the title bar of the window to move it. There have been a few times I've had to shut down Cubase, change my surface pro 3 over to only display on its own screen and restart Cubase and then open hive so it opens on the surface's hi res screen. The I add the second monitor (TV) back in and drag hive back over to it and I'm able to position the window again. Kinda a pain.
Also please please please add some formant filter options. It would be sooo nice to be able to have a nice vocal like growling filter sweep. So many filters these days are just soooo bland.

if you right-click on the Hive logo it will let you choose how big you want the interface to be, so you can reduce the size to something that works better for you.DodgingRain wrote:What would be really nice is to reduce the size just a little bit so it fits on an HD screen better.

Quick request: is it possible to add up and down preset select arrows in the browser? Diva has this and it's a real asset to my workflow (saves me from having to mouse around). Otherwise, Hive is the bee's knees!

It's already there. Push preset, click on one of the presets and you are in arrows heavenjacobaaron wrote:Quick request: is it possible to add up and down preset select arrows in the browser? Hey guys,
Couldn't find any official way to report bugs other than posting in here, so apologies if this has been brought to your attention already. It looks like modulating the compressor output with an LFO causes some strange noise... sounds a bit like aliasing. I found this because I couldn't see any other way to modulate overall volume- not sure if the main output is supposed to be available as a destination, but it only showed up intermittently and I couldn't drag to it as a target.
Amazing work as usual though, absolutely love Hive!

LFO delay much like the vibrato delay could be killer. i know that it can be achieved with the envelopes but since we are are going for simple here... just saying!!!
i heart this synth!

Here is a table where you can look up the MIDI note numbers, note names and their frequencies:nori.lam wrote:Hi Urs,
Could you give a bit more detail on how the freq cutoff works? I looked in the Hive manual and it doesnt describe how the MIDI notes are connected to freq values.
Hive is the only U-He product I have so this is my first encounter with this type of filtering.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed the 'descriptive EQ' values makes it in for the release

Apple may not make them. But third party mice with wheels do work on macs. I have microsoft optical mice on all my macs for the past almost ten years.

I prefer the way it is. It's just as fast if not faster Imo, but like others said scrolling your mouse wheel does what your wanting I think.
