There is a saying "many hands make light work"........it should be "many Hans make light wallet"
Haha... Well I almost feel guilty now ;-). Does it make any comfort that I jumped on too many of these offers myself. I think my bank advisor would prefer if my broadband connection was shut down.

Anyway it's always nice to help one another. And in general I think people are nice and friendly and help you out if you have a question etc.

Just for your information if you or others want to check things out, I get my information from different sites besides just visiting the dealers and developers themselves and of course being subscribed to newsletters.

This website has a promotion page for deals. I actually thinks he takes a lot of his deals from this place :D. But anyway once in a while he has an offer that isn't listed here for some reason. For example I found out about the Dune 2 $20 off offer at his site: http://rekkerd.org/deals-deals-deals/

There's a thread at gearsluts with bargains only also:

There's also a great thread over at the Cakewalk forum, with the unique cclarry at the helm (http://forum.cakewalk.com/m/tt.aspx?f=85).

You're da man, Numanoid :tu:
What's so special about it? Musescore is much better, it can even import MIDI, and there's a new version 2.0!

MagicScore Maestro is a great notation software but OneTouch Composer looks ridiculous...

It's the tablet compatibility that does it.
Musescore looks fine and is Mac compatible but there's no tablet app.
As for me, I love Notion from PreSonus.
Works perfectly on Mac as well as iPad :)

On another deal, Hans25 just posted:

"Software Collection download edition (includes Bass Station, V-Station plus Focusrite's Effects Plugin Suite- £74.99 £29.00
https://www.absolutemusic.co.uk/focusri ... ition.html"

Do any of you guys have these plugins and care to comment?

Post

Was thinking about the Novation/Focusrite deal too but the info says Windows 8 is not supported for the Focusrite plugins, something to watch out for

Yes, thank you for checking. They're on sale now for $149 each or $279 for the pack with an extra discount in cart:

Thanks! Picked up the Animator. Great price.

I don't care too much for the Bass Station, but V-Station still does deliver the goods. Not a bad deal, but you might be able to pick it up for even less second-hand here in the market place.

Edit: This software is already free from the publisher: http://icecreamapps.com/PDF-Split-and-Merge/

Edit: The support took care of it (look at my post below).

Hey guys, just a little warning about the Novation deal. I actually tried ti enrich myself with that deal yesterday, but I had some troubles ordering it, because I am not in UK. Problem was that £60 was added in delivery cost even though it is a download deal. Maybe they will just cancel the shipping payment but I didn't dare to risk it. So I tried to change the delivery country to UK because then delivery costs changed to zero. But then it wouldn't accept my paypal payment or VISA card because of my location outside UK.

I have contacted them by e-mail about it. I hope to get an answer soon. Then I will update what they told me.

When it's $50?

Just kidding... there's no telling with Waves.

Their intro prices seem to run at least until they release a new plug-in, but sometimes longer.

Sale prices also seem to end at the end of the month... when they end.

Other than Dorrough stereo, I've only bought "one day specials," etc. at $25 or less for the last year or so.

Well that was what I tried, but the paypal was also rejected when I tried to order.

Update: Their support haven taken care of it. They sent me a direct paypal-link which worked. I paid and got the serials emailed right away by the support. Furthermore the support told me that they would contact the webdevelopers to correct the issue.

So thumbs up for that :tu:

Thanks mate.

Max from Waves Universe has since confirmed it will be at least through to the end of April, and possibly May (although he couldn't confirm the latter).
