Cheers Hans. Please tell us about the compatibility and quality of the FR effects.
By the way, Numanoid's link to the Korg DW8000 library at ParticleSound for $5.99 is a 1.7GB gem, two to three times the size of their other libraries.
Seven days to decide (although I already jumped) ...

Well did you know that the Novation V-station and Bass-Station was updated in October 2014? The plugins are 64-bit Windows compatible. Update news from October 2014:
http://www.kvraudio.com/news/novation-u ... v2-1-27570
Furthermore it's stated that Windows 8 is supported (on the Novation website). Scroll down to OS compatability: http://global.novationmusic.com/software/v-station#

Who told you the plugins don't work with Windows 8?

This was the one, Hans.jezjez wrote:Was thinking about the Novation/Focusrite deal too but the info says Windows 8 is not supported for the Focusrite plugins, something to watch out for
Me, I'm 64bit AU, so I hope they will do that.
Also, wondering how they relate to the newer Focusrite plugin suites.
Finally, worth checking if these are included when buying a Novation controller.

Ahh ok. Now I get it. The plugin suite is the effect bundle (I was mainly interested in the instruments). It seems like the effect bundle is older than the ones Focusrite are offering for the audio interfaces now. When you go to the plugin suite OS compatibility site, Windows 8 is not even listed because the webpage apparently haven't been updated after Windows 8 was released. Windows 7 is stated and that works. So it might work anyway on Windows 8. http://us.focusrite.com/downloads/os?pr ... ugin+SuiteFleer wrote:This was the one, Hans.jezjez wrote:Was thinking about the Novation/Focusrite deal too but the info says Windows 8 is not supported for the Focusrite plugins, something to watch out for

My guess is the end of this month. I have no facts to back that up, it's just a guess based on previous Waves behavior.Mushy Mushy wrote:Does anybody know when the Waves dbx160 intro price will end?
(ie, the $99 price)

Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

GiveAwayOfTheDay today looks to me that the license can be used even after today, as one need to go to this page to register for the serial, and you will then get sent a serial and link to download directly from Cyberlink:

PhotoDirector 5 gets good reviews, but I guess this offer is due to that PHD 6 has already been released

Nevertheless, Cyberlink has some quite good video and photo editing software for people who cannot afford Sony Vegas or Photoshop!
