Steve IS Xfer.

Meanwhile, back at the Batcave….

I presume that Spectrasonics are going to stick this on a CDN on the 30th.
I forget, we are in the era of 'unable to write anything in full', so I'm supposed to know that by 'Steve', el-bo means 'Steve Duda'. It's conventional to give somebody's surname when talking about them, you know, seeing as there are millions of 'Steves' in the world...

The word 'xfer' does not mean 'transfer', why would anybody be so lazy and stupid that they wouldn't simply write the word 'transfer', and instead make up a completely new word that is nothing like it? Hence el-bo can't explain his actions... because he doesn't care...

It's rather like the stupidity of the person who started this thread, and titled it "Omnisphere 2 is here!", when it ISN'T here. Unbelievable.
yep !! i am lazy and stupid. "i am unable to right anything in fu....", cannot explain my actions, and don't care

¿que mas?

Well guitar center recently sent me a 25% off coupon, so I bought both Omni and a Novation SL61. Can't wait to get the new Omni.

AS long as V2 keeps all my patch ratings and project groups I'll be happy. I've spent a loooong time going through the sounds (and still haven't quite finished).

Yes, I would be well pissed off if it lost those.

I decided to wait for Omni 2 before doing that. May require 3 weeks off work though as it will be audition hell. But in this case, hell is the place to be, right :D :hihi:

I already 'own' the upgrade via a coupon on Time & Space that got me a discount. Should I expire before 30th April, the first person who manages to contact me can have my copy. I'll spell out the serial number on your ouija board (make sure you get one with numbers, not just letters).
I forgot about that coupon. 15% off here. Is that what you got?
Just ordered the upgrade for £126. :)
Still not exactly cheap, but I was expecting to pay around £170 ($250), so I doubt I'd get it any cheaper in the near future anyway and considering how much I use Omni 1 I think it's worth it.

You did better than me. I only got 10%!

I just noticed that Time & Space has the Omni 2 upgrade for 124 pounds (ex. VAT), but I guess it's delivered in an envelope with a serial number on a card. Are they international?

No, only UK & Ireland. Maybe you find a good soul here that help you out in this case (in the end it's only a serial).
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

My main tools: Kontakt, Omnisphere, Samplemodeling + Audio Modeling. Unify = godsend. Tari's libraries also rock.
