Why did you quote the content of the post, if you don't want it in this thread?lnikj wrote:Would this stuff not be better placed in another/new thread?
Kind of weird as you then duplicate the message...

I believe it is a common practice in Internet forums to make it clear what you are referring to? No?Numanoid wrote:Why did you quote the content of the post, if you don't want it in this thread?lnikj wrote:Would this stuff not be better placed in another/new thread?

As the posting is just above, there is really no need, you can refer to the poster and ask the question.lnikj wrote:I believe it is a common practice in Internet forums to make it clear what you are referring to? No?
When everybody is quoting and duplicating the same kind of text, it becomes much more like spam.

It might be borderline stuff for this thread, but which other thread to place it in?

My original irritation was due to seeing these posts cropping up as alerts for me. No doubt every other subscribed person is now very irritated by receiving alerts for our little exchange, so this will be my last word on the matter.
They're not audio related. I don't care where you put them. Just not here please.

It is a you-tube age we live in. Audio and visual software seem to have some commonalities in production. Although personally not that interested in this particular one at the moment, I do appreciate the posting of a free one day deal.lnikj wrote:They're not audio related. I mean, how many alerts does one need for Waves and UVI?
(I figured out a long time ago to turn off all alerts except for my own sales thread.)

Thanks for the support, but I also understand lnikj point.
Next time (if there will be one), I'll just make a regular one-off thread in the market place forum.
The reason why I wanted to tip of about this particular giveaway, is that it seems one can install this later than today, as you get to download the actual intaller from Cyberlink you might also be able to install the product offline (I didn't do that so I can't confirm it).

U-he Hive $83.16 with code GROUP at JRR Shop
https://www.jrrshop.com/u-he-hive
(Cheers cclarry
)
This is a great price for a fantastic synth, temporarily costing $99 at u-he's site but going to full price $149 soon. Also, u-he prices don't often get slashed, so this is quite interesting.
The beta-version already works perfectly

Wow. I never thought that U-He would do this. Going to please and annoy people in equal measure I expect. Oh well, I was on the fence before, but I've jumped now

If this weren't such an incredibly boring topic, I'd disagree with you.Numanoid wrote:When everybody is quoting and duplicating the same kind of text, it becomes much more like spam.
I wish KVR allowed us to multi-quote like other forums.
