Is there some kind of trick with the modulators? I'm trying to modulate using an LFO in normal mode and it doesn't seem to be doing anything..

You have to be more specific here. Here's a tutorial:

Oh wow thanks. I searched for a tutorial but missed this one.

Haha yeah I definitely looked right past it as I was looking. But I'm definitely doing it right and I even tried that learn function but nothing is being modulated. ?????

I tried to test it out so I used modulator 2 as an LFO to modulate the global gain and nothing is happening.

Works fine for me with the latest beta (9.00b2), did you remember to enable the modulator by checking the little box after you learned the parameter? I remember that could take a little getting used to at first.

Yeah I did do that.

Lmao I figured it out...... You saying check the box made me realize that I never actually turned the entire modulator on................ Epic fail on my part. Thanks for the help.

:D Well, s** happens ;). I'm glad it is ok!

I've been playing around with bringing in audio files for waveforms and I was thinking how awesome it would be to be able to bring two files in and do a wavetable style morph between them that can be modulated. Any chance of this in the future?

Is there a way to do glide? I'm not seeing anything anywhere.

Well, in a way you can do this already:

1) Easier method: import one wave to Osc 1 and another to Osc 2 and use Osc 2 Ratio to switch between them.

2) More complex but more generalized: Use harmonic mode in say Osc 1. Learn all harmonics to a multiparameter (it cannot control all, just 64, but that should usually be enough), set it to "Banks" mode, then use the harmonic generator to analyze your sample and store it in one bank, repeat to up to 64 banks (depending how many you want). The multiparameter will then do the trick ;).

Or forget about the ancient wavetables :D. Install 9.00 and there are plenty of other opportunities to do these things - take a look at "PWM mode" which controls the new transformations.
