I haven't followed SSD for a few years now - is this a legit sale or one of those "sales", where it's just an endless "sale" to convince more customers to buy quickly? Thanks!
I don't have the exact answer to your question, but I can tell you that Steven Slate Drums 5 was advertised in the latest Sweetwater print catalog.

Now, that doesn't give any indication on when SSD5 will actually appear, but it does suggest that at least it's in the works.

So, the price for SSD4 is probably because a new version is coming along sometime "soon."

EDIT: Here's a copy of the ad-- http://www.pro-tools-expert.com/home-pa ... -soon.html

Thank you very much, that's very helpful. I assume they won't be raising the price anytime soon then for SSD4 then. Gives me a bit of breathing space so I don't have to spend all my money right :D .

u-he.com is still the fastest place to get their plugins. This might change in the future once our site communicates directly with theirs.

Anyway, there are many people who prefer to buy directly from the company. JRR's goal is to expand u-he's business, not hurt it. I'm a u-he fan first and foremost. :)

Nothing is planned this month. :(

I certainly never thought you were trying to hurt them and I am sure this move will be widely welcomed. I am still pretty surprised by it though and have opened a topic on their forum about it.

I'm both a U-He and a JRRshop fan :)

Nothing from them yet though; I think they are en route to Frankfurt.

Steinberg Cubase 7.5 with CMC-FD Bundle $499 $299.97 - http://www.guitarcenter.com/Steinberg-C ... ce=4TP5DDD
Right now the page says "sold out" but I think there is an error because every flash deal from their news-letter have the same error and I just received it 30 minutes ago. So hopefully it will be up sooner or later
I have been waiting for this, but they don't ship to Brazil.... :dog:

Post

anyone know if this (Cubase 7.5) has a free upgrade to 8?

Post

As long as it is an unused activation code, any newly activated cubase 7 license qualifies for the upgrade and is upgraded automatically as far as I know. It's a bargain!

Hey DJMaytag, where did you hear about that? I get email from them like every day, and didn't get that. Not sure it's enough to get me to buy it, but I do like the synth.

It's not the first time I found out about stuff off theirs I might be interested in some other way besides their mailing list. Isn't that the point of them having one? I know it's the point of me being on it!

Thx.

Post

It was the "build your EM rig" email.
