I just gave Tracktion another try, and the moment I tried to tweak a knob on a VST synth, it crashed without any error message or something, just instantly closed itself.
I've always found VSTs more stable on Mac with other DAWs, and I didn't try to use AU in Tracktion, did someone have better experiences with AUs, or it's just T6 which is still not very stable?
I honestly can't start a proper project without being sure it will not crash while I'm working on it just because I turn a knob.
I'm on Yosemite with a latest gen Mac Mini.

VST vs AU: does it make any difference on T6?

Well it is a new plugin maybe the bug is there? Anyway try the AU, I have found sometimes the AU version works better in Tracktion than the VST, sometimes the other way round, having choices is good.

Also, doesn't Tracktion have different processes for the instruments? It shouldn't crash the whole DAW.
Gonna give it a try in AU.

Hi needaname, I just downloaded the demo of miniSyn'X and haven't seen it crash whilst playing with is so far. Are you using the latest version (2.0.1)?
Does it crash as soon as you turn a knob or only occasionally? Would you be able to send your log file to support so we can investigate further? To get it click the "Help" button in the bottom and then "Show the Tracktion log file". Send this file to support using the orange "Help" button in the bottom right hand corner of our web site www.tracktion.com.
