This is a monumental change of direction for them. I've been with them since 2004, Zebra 1 and Filterscape, and I genuinely thought this day would never come. What gives? Eric? Urs?
Anyway, there are many people who prefer to buy directly from the company. JRR's goal is to expand u-he's business, not hurt it. I'm a u-he fan first and foremost.
I'm both a U-He and a JRRshop fan

Hmmm, didn't get that one. Wonder if there's some email pref I have or don't have controls that. Or maybe the world is random. Like it appears to be anyway...DJMaytag wrote:It was the "build your EM rig" email.

I don't remember. It's been a year and a half, and I initially had an EDU eligible account.

Those who already own FF stuff will get an even better deal.ezelkow1 wrote:And boughtBeen waiting for a good deal on some fabfilter. Anyone know how long it takes for them to actually setup your account? I got my order invoice and already authorized volcano but no account info. Tried doing the reset password too with no email, nothing in spam either
I just picked up Twin 2, and in my profile at FF now I get Volcano 2 offered at 55% off = €49,05
80% off if I buy the whole FF bundle

Thats why Ive been waiting for a good deal on at least a single FF plugin. Was very tempted by the full creative bundle during the last sale but couldnt pull the trigger on that much. Hopefully now that I have one it will help with their future sales. Always been interested in volcano, timeless, and saturn

Found this Danish web store selling Softube at crazy prices: SSL XL 9000 for about $79: http://www.4sound.dk/search/softube
Is this a real store? Only ships to Denmark, but these are downloadable products so maybe just use a fake address?

4Sound is a major retailer of hardware/software in Scandinavia, have lots of shops all over the place here.
I just visited two of their shops in Stockholm some weeks ago.
So no doubt they are 4real, but if they ship to other parts of the world is another issue.

The prices are crazy and make no sense the big TSAR-1 = 509kr and the little TSAR-1R = 1.129kr.. What???
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

There are also deals on Softtube in the Swedish 4sound webstore, and SEK is less worth than DKK: http://www.4sound.se/brands/softubemurnau wrote:The prices are crazy and make no sense the big TSAR-1 = 509kr and the little TSAR-1R = 1.129kr.. What???
Converted the price of TSAR-1 there is about €69

Yeah, it's too good to not be a mistake: SSL XL 9k is almost at 70% discount. Maybe someone's lucky to take advantage of it... Anyone from Denmark want to help me order it?

At the price it seems a risk free investment, to transfer the license later one needs to buy a tranfer token at €10 and it doesn't become NFR.ezelkow1 wrote:Thats why Ive been waiting for a good deal on at least a single FF plugin. So when the sale is over, I doubt it would be difficult getting the money back second hand if the plug wasn't to ones liking after all.

Indeed. This is why I'm kinda waiting to buy Pro-L at their next summer sale (though I am hunting for it second-hand.)Numanoid wrote:Those who already own FF stuff will get an even better deal.

I own FIVE products from their line, so the first thing I get is discounted 29% and subsequent products, from most to least expensive, are 40% off, then 45%, 50%, etc up to 60% max off.
