T4 ajust exclude edit in sample during loop play

New to Tracktion, I installed T4 after buying a Behringer product. The editing of samples seems very straightforward, which is nice. In loop play one can easily mark a part to cut out of that sample and adjust the start and end point of that portion to be cut by dragging the begin and end marker of the loop while it is playing. works great.
My question: is there a simular way to determine the fragment to cut out while listening to what will be left over. In other words: while jumping over the selected part. I can cut the sample in two parts, but as soon as I try to move the sample inside each envelope, playback stops. No way to do this while listening to it in loop modus.
Can anyone comment to this? Thanks!

It seems to me like you are asking if you can split a clip and move it around or delete a section of it in loop mode while play is pressed. I was able to do this, so I don't think I'm clear on the question. I'm especially not sure what you mean by "envelope," and also "jumping over" but hopefully someone else will chime in who knows. Maybe you could provide a picture?

When you cut out portion of a sample, you may be interested in the part you are cutting out or you may be interested in the two adjacent parts that are pasted together after the cutout took place ("jumping over the part that was cut out"). To be able to determine exactly where to cut you may listen in loop mode (or rehersal mode) and, while playing, ajust the start and end point of what you want to cut out subsequently. This works fine.
What I asked is whether there is a way to do the same while listening to what is to be left over (and joined together) after the cutout . I see how to move the waveform inside the sample objects (envelope), but this only works in stop mode, not during a loop play of that portion. So no way to ajust what is going to be cutout while listening to what will be left-over in some sort of loop/rehearsal mode.
This last way of editing is essential when editing spoken word (voice overs) in order to remove errors from a take while maintaining the right rhythm of speech.

You can put the section you want to listen to between markers, cut the clip where you want to remove a bit and( instead of moving the marker) move the handle on the clip itself.

I was able to do what I think you are talking about.

I would set the markers around everything that you want to hear. Use forward slash to split the clip where I wanted at the cursor while it plays (you can fine tune with the clips triangle shaped handles like mentioned above). Select the part I want to remove by clicking the top red bar of the clip, then delete it. Then hold ALT while dragging the remaining clips to meet. I was able to do all that while playing in loop mode. I was also able to move the waveforms within the clips while playing.

Something tells me I'm still missing the point, so sorry about that if so.

Are you using version 5 or 6? For this may be an improvement of these versions over V4. And a good reason for me to aquire it!

I was using T4 on a PC when I tested this.

At what point is the playback stopping? When you drag a clip? When you move the waveform within the clip?

I also highly recommend the T6 upgrade, for $30 it's a no-brainer.
