Hi everyone,

it's been literally years since I posted here last, but I did great many songs with MuLab in the meantime, mostly using vsts, though.

However, with the new versions of MuLab rolling in at a wonderful and exciting frequency I started to play with the internal goodies again. I'm a wee bit rusty, but discovered not only that it's still amazing fun to craft synth patches with it, but my old synth drums work even better now. They used to have curious glitches, which appear to be all gone!

SOooo...without further ado, here are my first new pure mulab tracks from the last few days:
(beware, they might be a little cheesy. No idea how I ended up in such moods?!)
Airtime - yay, my drums work! :hyper:
In Dreams - totally Vangelis, accidentally, but think of a little girl meeting a father she never had in her dreams.

Post

In Dreams is absolutely beautiful, simple and beautiful
Beauty is only skin deep,
Ugliness, however, goes right the way through

Thanks, bibz! :)

2 wonderful cute little tracks :)
Do u regard them as finished?
If yes then i'll add them to the public muproject library, if that's ok with you?

Post

Uh, THANKS, I'm very happy you like them enough for that, but absolutely! I try to keep those experiments at 4 racks for the very sake of being useful as potential demo projects. Some of the tracks have automation tracks. Would they cause trouble to the demo version?
Is the unauthorized version still running in demo mode?

But, yeah, my pleasure, Jo, thank you very much!

It's really not necessary to limit yourself to 4 tracks. Pls don't take that into account.
If a demo track uses more tracks, there will be a soft noise from time to time, but nothing wrong with that!
It's also the case with Pure.

Yes i do like these 2 little projects you made. Now if you have further inspiration to let them grow into even better tracks, pls go for it, and lets only publish them when you they're ready ready :)

I'll have another look at them, then, but I tend to want to move forward as there's still plenty to explore and I'm really in the mood to give the MuSynth a greater workout, too! :hyper:

Those tracks are essentially little warm-up doodles that were great fun. If all goes well, though, there should soon be some thicker stuff!

Cool, then I won't restrict myself and see what I can coax out of MuLab on a grander- albeit internal- scale! :phones:

I might have a go at recording a 4 track session, though, to make a little youtube demo/tutorial on how to do a quick track with MuLab only. 8)
