not really the sort of thing i normally listen to,but at points i did think of moby tho(which i hope is a good thing for you i like him)im thinkin earlier stuff.if youve listened to any of my stuff yet you will no im no expert in mixes and stuff either but to my ears the mix is ok
my only real problem was it does seem a bit repetitive, now i understand its a dance track so repetition is ok but im just talkin maybe a few little builds here and there?
enjoyable enough to listen to tho and i did like the vocals.bit sorta rough n ready 8)

also like i said i been workin all night so im a bit tired which can effect the way we hear stuff 8)
look forward to hearin more,so another orionaut then

Some good stuff here - especially the chorus - if this was beefed up a bit with a thumping bass line and harder drums this would really kick ass!! When the chorus came in first time at about 3 minutes I felt those little goosepimples that is always a good sign.

A good tip (in my opinion and from my own experiences) is to leave this track for a couple of weeks and come back to it with fresh ears. I often find that, due to my constant repeated listening of the same track when creating/mixing it, things that I originally thought sounded good didn't quite hit the mark and instruments/sounds that I thought were important were not actually needed.

The most striking thing I find, when listening to something with fresh ears, is how wrong I have the arrangement of the song:- usually with a way too long intro and too much stopping and starting. Plus I find that I throw in too many ideas at the time without any realisation of how this is actually affecting the song as a whole.

I really think the start of the track should include a "teaser" which would be a shorter, slight variation on the chorus with no vocals. Plus maybe towards the end of the track, the mix should cut back to just one synth playing the chorus line with only claps on the beat and then, the chorus would be introduced for the final time with even more drums for a nice frenzied finish that would get the crowd really going!! This is, in my opinion, a chart/club friendly track so should be mixed with this in mind. You guessed it - I want to remix this track!!!!!

Please give this song a couple of weeks then come back to it. I love that chorus - it's in my head now and I can't get it out!!! If this was released with more powerful drums, better song arrangement (in terms of verse-chorus etc) and corking bass line then I would definately buy it. I think you should aim for an eighties/Prodigy/hard trance type sound. Just don't change that chorus!!!!

This has encouraged me to get off my fat ass and actually finish something for people to provide their own critique! All the best - look forward to hearing this in the near future.

P.s. If you would let me have a go at remixing this I would be most honoured (and a little scared!!). Just give me your vocals and the main synth lines plus samples you use and I would give it a go. Please don't take anything I said as a put down or anything like that as I am no professional myself (I wish!) and at least you have actually got to the stage of actually putting your stuff on the net. :)

OK, since I made the efforts of a 20min download...
and I'm going to try to be positive (doesn't that remember you something ? :D )

Nice idea but to long, after 5min you ask yourself 'is this going to stop somewhere?' after 7 min you think 'no here we go again :? ' and after 8 min you give up.

I didn't like the male solo vox.

But still a nice idea for a song.
