MAutoEqualizer questions

a few general questions when using it for mastering.
I'm trying different placements for analyzing my target track.
Since I get different results when placing it between, pre or post comp, tape emu what would you suggest for optimal use?
Since tape is typically used last (pre b/w lim) would it make any sense to put the MA last, analyze then move the MA instance back pre-comp/ tape? Would that affect the result?
Also if the analyzed file shows more correction in the lo end freq's would it make more sense to use the min-ph setting or the regular version instead of Linear Phase version?
Thanks

Personally I'd say put it either as the first one (to control the spectrum for next stages) or as last one before limiter (to control the final spectrum). But I'm pretty sure many others would have a different opinion

Right, I get different readings depending on here it's placed in the chain.
What about the min-phase question?
Also, how do you the use SET/ Auto gain feature?
Do you apply it during the loudest part of the track while it's playing?

Sorry, forgot
Anyway I'm quite lost from the question - LP filtering has more pronounced preringing effect in low frequencies, if that's what you are asking. You should always choose which sounds better to you. Not really sure if that answers your question.
Set/AGC - well, I'd say loudest part sounds good, but it should actually provide similar results unless different parts of the song are significantly different.

I just updated to v9 from 8.
Now I can't find the Reset button.
Not the reset button on the top menu bar but the one that used to reset the all the eq bands back to flat.
Where is it?
