Hi Jo,

I just installed Mulab Free 6.4.18 (64 bit) and while playing around I made it crash repeatedly. Try this:

In preferences, set the scrollbar size to 28 or greater and restart.

Open a new project. Replace the Basic Synth with a MultiSampla. Open the keyboard view and minimize it all the way. On my system it crashes. Hope this helps!

No can't repeat it, not on Win32 nor on Win64. Can you make a screen video?

Post

Tried it, mine crashed while quitting mulab after changing the scrollbar size back to my original size but not while mulab was running.
EDIT
but once restarted it works perfectly ok, no biggie for me

Very strange problem. Checked the code and can't find a reason. Can't repeat it myself in anyway, but several of you can, so there seems to be something wrong. Any additional bits of info are very welcome.

Maybe its connected to the Floating Windows Bar, as it didnt crash when I didnt open and minimize the keyboard and the Windows Bar was not showing,
just a thought.

I tested it as described which makes the floating window bar appear anyway. Still not able to repeat this crash, nor do i see any possible reason. Curious for more info, eg a screen video.

please any one upload a video for this as it would help jo to fix much quicker

I can't do a screen video, but what kind of graphics card are you guys running? NVidea for me...could this be GPU related?

Post

At first i don't think it's graphics card related. But it's difficult to properly evaluate the problem as i don't have any view on this: Can't repeat it, can't see it. Anyway, i'll keep an eye on it. If anyone could add any additional pieces to this puzzle, pls do.
