I'm curious to know if Spectrasonics created regional mirrors. It'd make a lot more sense than hundreds of downloads all trying to use undersea cables.
Hell, I'd love it if they had the option to torrent it. Linux distros have been doing that forever and so does Blizzard with their game updates...

I wonder what timezone/time tomorrow the upgrade will go live on their website?

Funny, I really like the recordings I have taken with the MS attachment. I have the shotgun one as well, very nice quality for a portable recorder micrustman wrote:Showoff.Voice303 wrote:Yay, got my upgrade number from Sweetwater today along with a new waterproof case for my Zoom H6 and all its accessories!
I wonder what timezone/time tomorrow the upgrade will go live on their website?I just got an H6, the big SKB case, accessories, and the MS shotgun too. Liking it a lot other than the round MS mic being noisy as hell if you have to turn it above 5-6. Maybe I'll go to the dragboat races in Marble Falls and capture that....
The one thing I don't like with the H6 is the XY attachment... Its always just sounded a bit flat to me. Then again, I rarely use XY when I have a stereo pair of Rode NT5 connected so I am somewhat biased against XY stereo in general
Anyways enjoy the H6, its a fantastic device

I think that they really should go in alphabetical order by last name for downloading....just so the servers can handle it better. A-D first.

Eitherway knock off work at 4 so should hit servers on initial peak and be part off the server burn!!!!!!!!aMUSEd wrote:I've just been upgrading my home network this weekend with high bandwidth CAT 6 cables and a new Gigabit router - hopefully I can dl this fast providing their servers are also up to it

Meanwhile, back in good old first world Australia, I'm getting an average speed of 0.07Mb/s download. No point in even trying here.

I'd say it will be jammed for a day or two.jacqueslacouth wrote:Meanwhile, back in good old first world Australia, I'm getting an average speed of 0.07Mb/s download. No point in even trying here.
