Hive Mod Wheel - Returns to Bottom?

Hive owner here. Is there a way to change the settings of the mod wheel so that it doesn't "spring back" to its original starting position at the bottom?

I've read the manual and did a search on here (where I found others with the same question), but no answer.

Help?

I think we consider this a bug and it should be fixed before final release...
