midi track with another sound jumps to a "default"

Hi Guys

I encountered the following problem:

When I record a midi track it sounds OK. When I want to use THE SAME midi track to record the pattern with another sound, the VST jumps back to a fixed sound bank

Playing the keyboard the chosen sound is good but when I start recording with the midi track it changes

It has worked alright so I guess I changed something, but I cant figure out what goes wrong.

Kinda new to the program but I hope someone can help!

PS: When I change the sound of the VST and PLAY the miditrack it also jumps to another sound

im not 100% sure but
it sounds like the midi clip has program info in it
click on the clip and in the edit window at the bottom it should say in grey letters below the delete content button
if there is program data click on insert program change and then go down to remove all program changes from the clip

I found the stuff you said there would be and deleted it. All is fine now

I really don't know how it got in there in the first place, but being exploring Traction as a novice I guess I pushed one button to many
