Oddly enough, so do I (maybe not the goth but definitely the dark) and I am most happy when I get to make it

Same here.... Me no likee the happy stuff.

I like dark stuff as well. Industrial and Darkside Drum and Bass (from the 90's - not the newer neuro/glitch hop or Wubstep) stuff).

And anything else that's dark or moody. Plus UK82 Punk stuff - ie, The Exploited or GBH.

I'm confused - you want that I should not wish you well in making music? What's wrong with other users seeing my well wishes to them?

Regardless if one likes dark or bright, one can, and likely should, be happy in that which they enjoy.
