Maybe they have to send out serials to those entitled to the free upgrade. After you register that then the upgrade will be accessible, maybe.

it looks like the upgrade link on the site will cater for free upgraders. it just isn't working yet , produces the error others have shown above

Even the ones (like me) who already have their serial number aren't able to register it to their user accounts.

Looks like Eric spend a little too much time in creating the extra 1500 patches. :p

Like the last two days, I only get the message "The Omnisphere 2 Upgrade will be available for download on April 30". - Really looks for me like they missed something or still are doing updates to the website and database.

Just out of curiosity, when you try to enter in the serial number, what message do you get?

Maybe Spectrasonics think there isn't much buzz about it?. "We'll sort that out after lunch guys, no biggie".
