To be clear if it helps. I ordered from Musicmatters in UK, received serial card a few days ago.
Logged on to my account this morning and left the pc up whilst at work (they don't seem to time out logins).
Stayed in user acconut, entered serial on add product and successfully scored link around 6.05 BST.

Once successult get a download link approx 1.6mb and then the fun begins with the screenshot posted above. Took approximately 30 mins.

Received 4 folders (which was a nice surprise) as Trillian as well as Boob Moog Tribute pack has also been updated. Other 2 folders is omnispehere 2 and omnisphere data upgrade.

18 GB total download!

I do feel for the online users trying to buy today, especially VIP...

me too! it could not tell that I am a registered user although I am logged in
(and I have to copy and paste the number from my customer account page).

But this is of academic interest, since it is dead again.

Already thought that they may serve their dealer's clients first. Would make (some) sense in terms of ensuring working business with core partners in order to avoid that their hotlines are burned down...

Hi some problems here

I bought omnisphere 1 this month and registered it yesterday.

Now it says: "According to our records, the Omnisphere serial number you entered is not currently eligible for this upgrade"

what did i make wrong, have grace-period upgraders to wait... or just an error ?

Finally went through and I paid. I'm now waiting for the elusive e-mail that they said I was already send a few minutes ago. In the meantime I downloaded the Omni 2 installer. I'm guessing the e-mail I'm waiting for will include a link for the new content???

Yeah, I predicted this and instead decided to get a boxed version of the upgrade from Sweetwater. I've got plenty to keep me busy while the lot of voracious fans clog up the servers. I'll save up all my complaining for something else.

I'm really fighting off a bit of the Schadenfreude here to say I really feel for their customer base here. My dark humor is directed more at the Spectra-hubris here, in going from "we're prepared and can handle it" to "oops-sorry" in thirty minutes or less.

Seriously though, I'm sure for those that can wait a day or even a week, it will work out as it should.

(I have less faith in the CW-Rapture folly than I do Spectrasonics here.)

Got it. Downloaded their installer, which installed the plugin and the patches, etc into the STEAM folder. But when I come to downloading the sample data, it asks me for… my installation CD…!!
