NOW HEAR THIS
Whatever you do, don't install from the installers online in your account, at least on Windows these do not work correctly - they don't download the new data and although Omni 2 installs and activates, it will not work.
In your confirmation email, there are two tiny tiny links there to the download manager, one for Mac and one for Windows. These are the ones - use these!
Currently download is pretty speedy, here's hoping it fixes my busted install....

I guess, really, none of us should be all that surprised by any of this, right?

While waiting for the life-changing email from Spectrasonics I got a message from a guy from Nigeria. He offers a good deal that'll make me wealthy in near future.
Think I'll rather trust him than my (former) VST-supplier of choice.

Getting the same token validation error, so you're not alone
That gives us hope, I guess
edit: wife was laughing at me (or was scared of me at times, when I was yelling at computer
) for troubles I had with Rapture Pro last night, and earlier today I was explaining her how this is going to be something completely different. I mean, this can't fail, this is not Cakewalk. Damn, I am so naive...

It's back up now, download started, getting ~5-6MB/sec. Not bad.

VIP user this side, finally got it installed. No problems so far with third party libraries that I can see and/or with Trillian and the Bob Moog update. Everything third party wise is still where it was before the upgrade.
Seamless this side despite the constant F5'ing on Spectrasonics.net
The install is simple so nobody should have any worries about it.
Stay patient with the webpage as eventually you'll strike it lucky. The worst part for me was the final authorisation as the site when down when I was processing that. Luckily I had two windows open one to keep checking when it was online the other where I was signed in ready to just submit the details when it came back live.
Keep the faith despite the horrors thus far.
