I have received three, yes THREE, order confirmations from Spectrasonics techshop, all with different order numbers, all of them for Omni2 upgrade.
Needless to say that's some BS and I better note find 600 dollars of charges on my card...

Could be, but as anybody in this thread, I just wanted to get my stuff delivered when I had paid for it.elassi wrote:Because it was fire from two sides (to use your picture).Numanoid wrote:I even got flak for trying to get in touch with ADM on facebook.

Installed, played it for a while, loving it... now I'd like to read the manual. But how? Selecting "Reference guide" from the Utility menu takes me to a web page that says "Can't Find Manual Directory". Apparently there is also a local copy of the manual in the STEAM directory, but that wasn't updated, it's still for v1. Any other places I am missing?

Hans, i understand where you are coming from... but from Spectrasonic's point of view... today has been very successful... i.e. like $600k and up successful... not like they are running away with your money... actually... they added another 1500 patches for the inconvenience... hold tight... you will have years to play with Omni 2... unless you are on your death bed...Hans25 wrote:Yes EXACTLY my point! They haven't prepared enough bandwidth.Mystic wrote:Because crap happens?
Yes and I don't think that is good enough considering the upgrade price, time to prepare the download from initiale press release and hype etc.Mystic wrote:That's the best they can do.
That was a hilarious comment. That's like saying to a customer that ordered a new car, hey we found out that half of our new cars are malfunctioning. Would you please be so kind to take a broken one so some other guy can get one that's workingMystic wrote:If you actually want to help out with it, stop trying to hit the servers to download it every 3 minutes.![]()
I'm happy that you are not providing the service. Then I would expect it to arrive at christmas time. And I'll state my opinion about this or other things when I want to. It's not your job to dictate what other people should state or not just because you disagree.Mystic wrote: BTW, in west coast USA, there is still 11 hours left on April 30th so chances are you'll be able to download it at some point on April 30th. Take the entitlement elsewhere. Just makes you seem like an impatient arse.

Can somebody, who already downloaded and installed go out of this thread and start "Omnesphere- first impression" thread? I am reading pages and pages of your frustration with download process- I want to hear how you like the plug in and if it worth to buy. Thank you in advance.

Considering that they've added an entire library of new sounds called 'EDM' and made it a part of their initial announcement video, is this really even up for debate? I'd say it's much more than 'just an initial impression...'mwalthius wrote:
Also - and this is just an initial impression... There is definitely an effort to appeal to guys doing EDM, dub, and some other more hardcore electronic genres. That's just my sense based on playing through about 75 of the new sounds (and I have MANY more to go).

That's somewhat disappointing. I think I was hoping what I saw others had often requested, more traditional sounds to manipulate and mangle...mwalthius wrote:.... it sounds like.... Omnisphere.

Of course you're equally as welcome to start that thread in the form of a query.Astralv wrote:Can somebody, who already downloaded and installed go out of this thread and start "Omnesphere- first impression" thread? I'd be handing your money back to you and telling you to move along. I wouldn't want your kind as a customer. Always wondered how it felt living in an alternate universe where reality doesn't apply.Hans25 wrote:I'm happy that you are not providing the service. Eric, has said over and over again... acoustic/traditional instruments are very difficult to create... he was pointing to everyone taste is different when it comes to those types of instruments...BBFG# wrote:That's somewhat disappointing. "Could be"... that's unfair. You got every information in CC.Numanoid wrote:Could be, but as anybody in this thread, I just wanted to get my stuff delivered when I had paid for it.elassi wrote:Because it was fire from two sides (to use your picture).Numanoid wrote:I even got flak for trying to get in touch with ADM on facebook.
Plus: I don't recall if it was you but for sure I told someone taking part in the 2nd charity auction that I'll personally refund the money if the deal would not happen upon the very first sign of potential trouble. So even on the "money side" there was an early reply to whatever sorrows may come up.
However, I understood that you wanted the software you've won in the auction. But pls understand yourself that your "problem" was already in "process" and your additional action has been feared to be counterproductive. Thus you've been asked to await the "official efforts".
Ok, now?
