Honestly, those of us that download they would have done well to design a client that works on the torrent system much like game files for larger games so we could leech/seed the program rather than having them rely on external servers. I wish more large sample products did this.

Since I can't actually upgrade yet, I decided to channel my frustrations a bit into some adoration for Spectrasonics

Pretty cocky to put up a countdown timer for two months, wasn't it? Bet they don't do that again without a competant stress tester in their QA department (....right,...department). Actually, now that I'm home for the weekend and I've been thinking about this for weeks, I am a bit pissed that I can't even buy it now period, traffic be damned. Their IT people are feeling a lot more stress than I am. I'll take my perspective over theirs, I suppose.
Keep this under your hats...I heard Spectrasonics was bought by Camel Audio around the first of the year. Hope nothing bad happens to Camel Audio...

Yeah, the screeching and the guitar slop are mine, the drums are from RMX which is the only reason they are in timewagtunes wrote: Is that your recording? I don't recognize the song.
Note the lack of Omnisphere in the little ditty.

No kidding here but you sound like a cross between David Bowie and Ian Hunter, the lead singer from Mott The Hoople.Codestation wrote:Yeah, the screeching and the guitar slop are mine, the drums are from RMX which is the only reason they are in timewagtunes wrote: Is that your recording? I think you could really do something really great if you put your mind to it. You definitely have a sound.

I bought the upgrade from work yesterday due to a fear of a long wait for the confirmation e-mail, but ending up getting the email (three of them, actually ?? though I was only charged once) within 30 minutes. After work I started the download and left home. This morning, I confirmed the download had completed, yay. But I guess with techshop down I might not be able to actually authorize the thing after I install it? How annoying would that be, to have all that content just sitting there, unusable... well, we shall see, but I'm expecting disappointment for now, with everything I'm seeing here, but I can force some patience....

O.k. after i had to delete Sample Tank 3 (unistall was a damn hell) because Omnisphere 2 needs 18,6 plus 20 GB for install and i just had about 15 left after download was complete..... i tryed to authorize.... and......
.... it really worked!
Even i must have abit luck sometimes. I really need a large external SSD very soon (working on a MacBook Pro).

It is tied to your account, and only allows for one successful download I believe.needles_eye wrote:is the installer watermarked somehow? If not couldn't those of us that got it post a link so other people could have it?
