Maybe you need to get the latest version.dr zog wrote:Hi, I've used Hive extensively and really enjoyed how easy it is to use and the quality of the presets.
Having said that, my tracks (in Live and in .wav) have terrible scratching sounds on a regular basis (every minute or so). I realised it was due to Hive (when disabled no scracth sounds any more). I seem to remember it was embedded on purpose in the Beta version, is it really the case ? I did not get that in the first week I used it.
Please confirm, otherwise I won't purchase the final version !!!
By the way, here was my contribution to the Hive contest on Blend, using only Hive as synth:

You might have last months version on there.

I'm in agreement. When I want a sub bass, I just use Voxengo LF Max Punch.
And yes, new skins! I would love a 'realistic' looking skin, sort of like LusH-101. That way, it looks even more like hardware ^^.

Ooooo, WeatherM is doing a new beautiful sound-set for Hive! <3 (http://www.weatherm.net/#!releases/cox3).
They released one for Zebra2 and many other synths. It sounds very ambient and lush

Yes, I meant subtractive. I'd been reading about additive synths and the word somehow stuck in my head.Shiek927 wrote: Hive is not an additive synth though...

Mmhmm. Hive already has the sound to compete with the big synths out there at the moment like Reveal Sound Spire, which I compare it too. Expanding it's soundscape, especially on the digital side of things, will definitely make it very desirable. It already isgarryknight wrote:Yes, I meant subtractive. Thanks, I thought about doing so, but I'm scared to lose all my recordings made with the previous version. Do you believe that changing the version won't affect them ?mcnoone wrote:Maybe you need to get the latest version.dr zog wrote:Hi, I've used Hive extensively and really enjoyed how easy it is to use and the quality of the presets.

Love that s has sync option for predelay also. however spire is a much more complex synth than hive. Spire can do what it does better then hive and vice versa.

There's a concept for it for the sequencer - not sure when to implement it... step by stepdirtboy wrote:Apologies if this has been asked before, will there be a chord mode in the arpeggiator at some point? I can't seem to find one presently, thanks!
(arpeggiators are different beasts traditionally in that they take chords and play their notes in sequence, but the term has been blurred in recent years, much to my dismay - which is why we strictly separated the two in Hive)

It shouldn't. Though I know that it will get rid of the demo restrictions.dr zog wrote:Thanks, I thought about doing so, but I'm scared to lose all my recordings made with the previous version. Is there some way to inversely link two parameters together besides the modwheel. Say I want the res to lessen as I increase the cutoff?
Or how to specify ranges, say I only want the modwheel to trigger distortion amount only when it reaches past 75%?

That's the regular demo mode. Your temporary beta serial has expired.dr zog wrote:Hi, I've used Hive extensively and really enjoyed how easy it is to use and the quality of the presets.
