I have to admit that I'm not a Melda FX user, other than what I get with the free bundle. But I do get very excited about these updates, because it means that MDrummer isn't far behind! Hard-working guy, that Vojtech!

***EDIT*** I very often record multi-mic acoustic guitar tracks, so MAutoAlign might just be a wise purchase for me. So, I may soon be a Melda FX user, outside of what I get with the free FX bundle!

The new installer is brilliant, the style preview is broken on Yosemite and both my Retina monitors (see screenshot), everything turns unicolor and one can't preview the changes (in LogicX that is).

Are you sure you didn't enable the 5th color? Itneeds to have alpha 0, otherwise it overlays the nonactive windows - it's used so that you can easily spot which window is active.

I've done that too ;) - selecting any colour as the fifth ("Inactive window overlay") colour uses an Alpha value of 255, so the inactive windows get the full colour.

DarkStar - i'm thinking, maybe this feature isn't that awesome :D, i shall remove it or at least lpwer the depth (like althe 64 max)

No, leave it in - I've tried it out a few times and am getting used to it. And it can help too ;)

One idea though, when a colour is selected for it, set the alpha to 64 rather than 255 - then the user can change it up / down as desired. That way the inactive windows will be partially shaded out rather than fully shaded.

Yep, check 9.01 ;) Alpha is now " / 4" :)

Wow! Just wow! What a fantastic synth you've created! :-) Just one thing. I've tried looking for a way to get the oscillators free running (for that old analog synth behaviour). I could modulate the phase with an lfo but that takes more cpu. Is there another way? Thanks!

Are any of the manuals re-written? I have some manuals from version 8, and possibly even some I downloaded during the version 9 beta period. Should I keep all them, or are there some new ones to download?

Thanks -

alexis1: New PDF manuals are available from each plugin page ;).

Charlie: Thank you! I'd suggest using Oscillator FX and using MIDI and modulators to enable and disable it. It's going to be a little more problematic. (if I understand what you wanted :) ).

Re: Manuals - OK, I like to take notes on them so I will download them updated versions, I couldn't tell if they included new material as I couldn't see a authorship date on them.

And HOLY COW - this part is WONDERFUL   , clicking in a Melda GUI no longer steals the focus from Cubase ... what a beautiful thing!!! :phones:

Melda: Instead of an always fixed start phase of the oscillators, free mode chose different phases at every key pressed. Fixed phases is great for drum sounds and punchy basses. But sometimes you kinda want that meaty sloopy random sound for chords and stuff :-) i will try your suggestion! :-)

There's a random mode for the phase (actually 2).

Elassi, thanks! Great to hear! How did i miss this? :$ I thought i looked everywhere! This synth is deep! I actually like the raw sound of the oscillators without any filtering. That is unusual (for me) :-)

Quick follow up, just tried it but that seems to be only for the unison on osc1 right?
