It's exciting! Ooooohhhh my inner Spectrasonics fangirl has her cheerleader outfit on and she looks good!!!!! Wait that might have come out way wrong...

Gonna have fun with this thing! Has anybody tried importing long chunks of audio and mangling them? (I mean like entire performances of say 20 seconds or more).

I imported a 2:37 full song and can't believe what I was able to do to it. Just picked out a start position and ran it through the granulizer and some other FX.

Sweet - I mean you can do this in Ableton, Paul Stretch, you could do it with Alchemy... It's just that each of these has a slightly different way of giving you access to mangle, and produces wildly different results. Lovely stuff!!

Now i can do endless one finger tracks Not a fan from this but layering up something huge and playing a wall of sound with one finger can be funny sometimes.
I layered 2 Omnisphere 2 instances, one Dune 2 and one Zebra 2. So a one finger 2.0 soundtrack

These 3 are working great for this kind of sound. I think Dune 2 and Zebra 2 def. are better for the pure synth stuff (Sunrizer also) but together they are great and using these synth as sound source for Omnisphere 2 can be very interesting.
So i wish everyone good luck with the download and have fun.... i will now dive deep into the universe of sound and maybe get lost forever (not that someone miss me... )!

Yeah, thanks for the hint: I thought that too finally. I asked them but no comment about installing v1 first. I thought it was smart to wait and install v2 from scratch. I failed as usual..

Just as an update...I am a grace period updater. Sent email last night to Spectrasonics. Received email this morning with link to update. Went through the purchase entered my v1 serial which made the purchase free. Completed sale. Received downloader via email afterwards.

Started downloader, and downloaded v2. Took 1 hour.

Installed following their directions. Ran everything as Administrator. After install started DAW as Administrator. Opened Omnisphere which requested Authorization. Followed instructions to get authorized. Shut down plugin as requested.

Restarted Omnisphere.

All is good!

Is it still possible to buy the Bob Moog library? On the site it says 'coming soon'? Does that mean it was taken off sale but is being rereleased or something?

It's still there on the website (under Tribute), but the tech shop is down til next week. I'd expect it back up then with everything else.

Is the Omnisphere 1 VIP library included in Omnisphere 2? I ask because I just installed Omnisphere 2 on my new laptop and I don't see the patches. I am not home so I can't check my desktop PC that had the VIP library installed prior to upgrading. I also never installed Trillian on my laptop so that may be why the patches aren't there...

Anyone still with issues contact them directly techshop@spectrasonics.net , they've said they're working over the weekend to get everyone sorted, and also taking new custom this way too I think. Full website ordering back next week.

Was wondering if I could buy my VIP upgrade via Paypal if I email them. This sounds encouraging. Maybe I'll give it a shot. I just don't want to ruin a perfectly good weekend with stress and grief. Hmmmm.

Yep, they take PayPal. I emailed them last night before bed, and noticed their email on my phone while I was waiting to see the new Avengers movie this morning. I made my purchase when I got home, and it's downloading now.

One bit of weirdness with the site; when I tried copying and pasting my Omni 1 serial, the button below it stayed grayed out. I had to manually enter it to get it to work.
