Well, it can't freeze tracks and that is common thing that isn't delivered after 3 years, now I actually understand some things you were saying in this thread, especially about "making your friends happy" remarks, I see that too now, none of them needed freezing option, it's not there, guess everything goes like that around here, even if it's most common feature that actually makes life easier, not add up on complexity, one that is actually demanded and missed by probably anyone that used any other DAW.
So if something like that can't find priority list for 3 years, than what more to expect, why even starting this adventure, I bet many are fed up with this waiting and expecting from their prior DAW's, so why getting into obviously similar dead end.
I came here when I was between decisions, Logic X is dead for me, saw at the time what was perfectly fun and legal way to earn this one demoing it, that felt liberating, taught this is something I want to take part in, this is people and atmosphere I seek all this time, it is, it's good atmosphere and community.
But DAW is lacking and how things are till now, don't promise that will change soon, sorry, but that is how it is and personally, I had enough of "Apple way" for time being, I want DAW that delivers stuff, I'm fed up with workarounds, I want to edit my audio in my DAW, it's 2015, I want to have all common features already, I didn't asked for flex pitch, chord suggestions, harmonies extractors, just for proper audio time stretching and freezing tracks, that's things that can't find a way in 2015 DAW even if they are already pointed out in 2012 and who knows when before and who knows how many times, really not encouraging fact and situation.
I taught to just walk away, but here you have another guy that couldn't walk over same things, look at thread below, I'm not only one, I can bet there are more than two of us too.
Have a nice one

Thanks for your feedback.
FYI: This is what's been done the last years: http://www.mutools.com/mulab-mux-change-log.html
There will always be people who find feature X more important than feature Y and others find Y more important than Z etc.
Freezing indeed is a wished feature. And i have been thinking about it, but the modular nature of mulab doesn't make it easy, didn't find a solution yet. To be continued.

You mean "feedback", that is just rant, I know it, you know it, anybody that read it know it
You are doing amazing job really and fruits of your labor are delicious, but I keep forgetting that this is modular DAW and I'm not modular oriented guy, I mean I had my fun messing around even if I didn't knew what I was doing, but I would lie too if I said I would pick that messing instead of just plug&play solutions....
So it's me really, I don't belong here and can't appreciate what all this is really about, first I taught I could avoid modular and just work "normally", that went well guess until I felt comfortable and inspired, but that didn't lasted long and at that point I couldn't justify any single workaround anymore, of course white noise just made everything x10 more unbearable at any given point

No, i don't think so. (except for that 'friends' thing, i don't see any arguments for that)Zexila wrote:You mean "feedback", that is just rant, I know it, you know it, anybody that read it know it
I think your post came from your gut feeling. It's definitely interesting to read.
Yes that may be part of the 'mismatch' here, if you don't appreciate the modular aspect of MuLab then MuLab may not be the right tool for you. That said i can assure you (not meant to convince you, but just meant as info) that my main priorities currently are to also fulfill a bunch of 'standard' needs and to resolve certain complications which are the consequence of the modular freedom. The modular freedom is a great thing and i won't limit that, but i'm searching for improvements that make normal standard DAW work and the modular freedom go more hand in hand. The very next step still is MUX related though: Next i'll be working on the MUX front panels. They need a step forward, and it's requested by many users (has nothing to do with friending but with listening to user feedback), and it's just a logical step in the MUX story. After the MUX front panel improvements, i'll be working on certain 'standard' DAW aspects. Last but not least: MUX for Mac also still is on the wishlist. It's not because i expressed certain critical thoughts that MUX for Mac has been wiped out. A lot of work for the next months. Keep an eye on the updatesI keep forgetting that this is modular DAW and I'm not modular oriented guy, I mean I had my fun messing around even if I didn't knew what I was doing, but I would lie too if I said I would pick that messing instead of just plug&play solutions....

I will for sure, it's weird, I feel so warm&fuzzy, it's hard to leave this really and I kinda felt sad about it now when I tried, there's really something special going around here, like family, tomorrow is another day, everybody have bad day, bright side of things and consideration
Well, I'm staying, it's worth being part of this adventure with all of you, even if I had to use 2 DAW's, who cares, I'm not even good at it, not big waste
Sorry for that friends remark, that was mean and uncalled for, it's obvious how mean that was, really sorry, that is ugly thing about me (among many), I don't know why I'm trying to be mean like that
Now feel stupid for making all this noise and rant's, forgive me guys, guess I need to chill out more and think twice before writing

No prob Zexila, really, i think your post had an interesting gut feeling about certain aspects of MuLab.
Question:

Well, they changed Logic I liked into something I can't even run or look at, brought nothing interesting, fixed nothing until recently, well, that was deal breaker, I hate it, I put up with workarounds thinking soon they will deliver best DAW that exist's, but they didn't and brought even more of their usual nonsense, that was a deal breaker, I mean, it's not just 200 bucks upgrade, it's more than that and it's not upgrade I'm even excited about, but forced with their nazi way. Why?
It's 2015 and I don't wan't to be stuck in that eco system anymore, I'm actually just waiting my Windows to come today or tomorrow, so I'm out of it for good

ahem that was not a dig, it was what i call appropriate labeling. living in denial cant work forever. its your choice however. should i take my keen observational powers and point them elsewhere? i dont mean to disturb denial any more than is necessary. its ok with me if you wanna call it something it aint.
