You can do this with the little copy and paste buttons in the Layer Source bar, but best to do this immediately after adding your first layer before even choosing further samples and adjusting their individual layer settings:

Add first layer. Draw envelope (you'll have to select a sample to access this). Copy. Add 2nd layer. Paste. Do this 30 times. All layers will have the same envelope.
Now go back and set up your layers with specific samples and settings; the envelope stays the same.

Thanks for your continous help.

I already know the duplicating of layers, but this is not what is required.

I usally insert / drop all layers (multiple velocity samples for some component) at once, and MD sets up the velocity layers automatically after analysis. Now I need to set an envelope for the component (not the individual velocity layers).
When setting up new kits, I will also be doing a lot of tweaking, and it is unreasonbale to do this for 30 layers one by one, everytime I want to change the envelope.

Yes, my suggestion only saves work/time if done first before setting up the layers manually.
The only way I can see of tweaking the envelope per component is with effects (the per component ones, not the sends). Have a look at MTransient and MUtility...not as detailed as the envelope graphs but might help a bit.

Thanks for those two fx recs.

I was looking at the fx to try and find something, but there are just too many so thank you for pointing in the right direction.

From latest MDrummer 6 release notes:
"Saved drumset archives now contain paths to files in more compact way, so that the whole tree is not replicated when the archive is imported."
Muslimpunk, could you save an archive and upload your SM Drums V1 again so that I can see this?

Aaaah, yes, from what I remember there were some things that would need too big change to the kernel... somethings just won't be done probably.
