usually it make sence, to add notes for project specific features and the best place for this notes would be the project itself.

Recommended solution: Put your project notes in a text file and save it in your project folder. Advantages: You can use your favorite text editor and add all kinds of formatting + you can even view+edit notes without running MuLab/opening the project.

who knows this problem - i can't find my notes which i have stored quite certain in my project folder

perhaps, notes can be handled similar to External Audio Editor:

- External Editor path can be configured in Preferences
- Project->Edit Notes - opens External Editor with {UserLibrary}/MuProject/<ProjectName>.txt

that's all.
