a per-patch ability like in diva would be best. divas lag setup is ideal.

Ouch. My condolences :(

Thanks… it wasn't unexpected though. She was 99 and we knew it was coming.

(still a shock when it then actually happens, but also a relief)
Sorry to hear that. Hope it was painless and you and your wife are alright during the grieving process.

A bit surprised I have yet to see any articles about Hive. Other then the forum, there really isn't of coverage on it :O.

There's sure to be some media presence once Hive is out - remember it's still public beta!

We have asked magazines to hold back until we're final - so to be able to judge the full factory bank and final UI (with preferences panel and an alternative skin)

That makes a lot of sense ^^.

Hey, not sure if this has been requested before but can you add an FX version of Hive also? It would be cool to be able to run any audio tracks through the Hive FX too.

what color is the final ui going to have? :D would love some bitwig orange and black :D
i still want pan on sub osc though because its frustrating getting it panned with the main osc when doing bass patch. Also a bypass fx and filter since you wrote it wont be possible with bypass only fx while going through filter. =) just going to main out would be awesome!

I'm afraid I still don't really get what the fuss is about with panning the subs.

If this is just about the sub-bass, why can't people just open up a new instance, make the sub a octave or lower, and voila? you can then record both channels into a new one if you wanted.

Or, even simpler, just use external plugins. I like to use Voxengo LF Max Punch when I want some subby.

Considering that the trend with EDM for a long time now has been very bassy groove-driven genres, I get the appeal. Still, there are workarounds and surely it's not THAT much of a deal breaker.

Of course if there are bigger problems or implications then just making a sub-bass, I'd love to hear them out :).
