Hey everyone, I have started collecting plugins but I am having trouble figuring out how to add them...
I went onto youtube to watch a guide which is self-explanatory, pretty simple....add path, choose the file etc, but the extra stuff on his screen isn't even on mine, add path etc.
I've uploaded a pic of what my interface looks like and if you go to this link on youtube maybe 2 mins in it will be the same plugins section but you can see it is completely different
And yes I have the latest version, I can't figure it out and have tried all the obvious options like dragging and also the scanning and sorting button.
Thanks.

Well the obvious question is; are you using the correct version for your plugins?
Ie. 64 bit for 64 bit plugins, 32 for 32... Vst 2 only as Vst 3 is not supported in T4.
If so, have you tried running it as administrator?
-Cheers
*oh and maybe turn off that spyware thing for the scan...

In T4, any button with "..." on it has a further submenu. So click on the "Scanning and Sorting..." button under the main box. That'll give you the option to start a scan, and when you click to do so it'll show you a screen of folders to look in, also allowing you to add or remove folders via buttons with a + or a - sign.

yes the plugins are correct and i've searched the "..."
I think the obvious problem is actually despite whether versions are correct or not, why the heck is my interface not giving me an option to add path...
Look at the youtube video...he doesn't click scanning and sorting, that is afterwards before he can use them

Tracktion was rescued from Mackie and T4 was released in early 2013. There were lots of changes in 2013. The version at the end of the 2013 was quite different to the version at the beginning, which was essentially T3 with a new hat on. Things changed after the video. That kind of thing happens around here.Mousecanon wrote:Look at the youtube video...he doesn't click scanning and sorting, that is afterwards before he can use them
